I have the PCE CD version, and it's even more awesome than this one, given it has an amazing remixed soundtrack.

I could also see how my Genesis and SNES felt embarrassed about their Raiden ports when I first played the Hu-Card version.

well, i was writing a overly complex explanation, but lets just say the PC engine has a advantage of processing power with its "8 bit cpu" even over sega genesis 68k if its kept on 8 bit realm of sprite moving, so when doing a fighter with a lot of sprites, or a shooter, the pc engine shines.

unfortunately, this, and the lack of licensing deals turned the pc engine in THE space shooter machine, just like neo geo is the fighter one.

I think it is the audio version on the card, however, a conversion very good!, sin no 2 player; very bad conversions and sfc md!

Man, I would've loved to have this game for the TG-16 back in the day. Almost perfect translation from the arcade.
