Blitzball is easily the best mini-game ever made.

Especially when you own it yourself :p. 45 W and 1 T and i still haven't been to the Djose temple lmfao.

Blitzball game on its own would be awesome :).

It should have 8-10 players in field, last 10mins and allow players to go in and out during play :).

I can hold my breath for...hmm actually i cant remember but it was more than 3 min. 4min?

But that'd be tough playing underwater.

Haha I recently made an all-girls team, and I switch 1-2 out with certain girls once they reach level 40, 50 etc, like Kiyuri, who's bad until 30 or so.

ANYWAY, it's a fun and cute minigame. This music makes it so evil hehehe.

Blitzball is the greatest mini-game in my opinion. It's a game all by itself. On my 285+ hour data I spent at least 100 of that playing blitzball.

Blitzball might work as a game in itself, but I think the designers would have to ditch the whole strategy thing and be more focused on real time gameplay.

Gameplay is actually quite hard though, if you really do it 3D. I made a mock up of it at Second Life (see my latest video) and I am having my butt kicked by the ball! ;)

QUESTION in some cutscene it shows a blitzball floating along the time of the water, so if the ball floats how are they supposed to throw it at all?

The water on the blitzsphere is full of pyreflies, wich allows them to throw the ball and breathe underwater for long periods

it would be cool if it was real. i guess you can avoid holding your breath with one of those oxygen capsules things that james bond uses in sum movies but propelling your self so i high out of the water or throwing the ball with such force underwater is impossible. 2 bad, wish it was do-able

I have literally a file dedicated only, and only to blitzball.

heres a tip:

hire wedge when you can (he's the guy with brownish/tan clothes near the blitzball stadium gates, in fact he's right next to it.) He is weak at first, but proves to be quite the blitzer as he levels. He boasts high END, ATK, SHT and SPD(faster than tidus) and can learn good techs early on. His CAT can get high as well, making him a decent goalie later on.

Nope, the M is for "Manga" which means Comic books in japanese. Most of the scenes are from the Japanese DVD release of the FFX movie
