  • LOL this happened to my daughter and I one day -- One minute, there was a little "island" piece of sand, the next, it was gone. My daughter freaked out, saying "mommy, the water is trying to get me!!"

  • @GinBlossomsCLK thats a pretty shit story

  • I had been stayed with host famiry

whose house was just in front of Puget Sound,

    I was asutudent,it's about 30years ago.

My host famiry gave me a fond nemory

    of the eternai settingsun.

Nice to meet you! I'm japanese oldmen.

  • @blahabears seahawks ?????? bu t there awsome i love seattle

  • go gig harbor tides!

  • For christ sake id have them kids out pronto

  • Hey I'm from Bremerton. That's crazy how fast the tide was coming in.

  • Ha ha.. that was good.. We have tides in this part of the world as well.. will have to go and film our river (Colne) flowing backwards, to prove it.. :) Rob / KurtGnu

  • Wow, that island really did dissapear fast! Menlo Park may be further from the beach than Tacoma, but I'd rather drive 90 minutes to Santa Cruz than 15 minutes to Puget Sound. It would also be nice to have a real commuter train like Caltrain, that runs more than four times a day like out Sounder train. I don't envy the mortgages in California however...

  • Wow!

  • You live by the beach?

    I ENVY YOU!!!!

    :(

  • I would envy me too, but alas I must envy our friends that we stayed with during this trip. Where we live in California is at least an hour's drive from the beach.

  • Where is that?

  • Kopachuck State Park - it's near Tacoma on the southern part of the sound.

  • Is the tide coming in? Or is that global warming at work? Hmmmm?

  • That's what they may be saying in Florida in twenty or so years.
