you know they take these up to 100mph at full throttle, on a static test, and as well as hammering it for the brake strip, squeak and rattle strip, and just an all out speed strip for pre-delivery testing? And even worse; at the plant in Japan which the Z is built, they have a full race track because of the GTR production there.
I don't understand the comparison to begin with. 4 door sedan vs 2 seat coupe. Plus the G8 is off track when the corners start. These are two different animals all together or am I missing something?

I choose the 370z over an M3 because they are common and I've recently decided that apart from the 4 exhausts out the back, i don't actually find them attractive. I find the 370 more attractive than the M3 and the STi, although it is slower by a little, but I can accept that.

If you have ever driven a car with a lot of torque, I have test driven multipleC6 Z06's before I bought my Z, and you can break the rear wheels lose as 70mph in 2nd gear. But as I recall in many comparos, the G8 GT is barely faster than the Charger RT and while the ET's may vary, the trap speeds wont much

You can definitely tell they were trying to go more in the direction of the original z's of the 70's.. but I think they lost something in translation. Very nice-sounding car though, and damn fast. What's up with the steering wheel though? I honestly like the interior of the 350z better.
I'm serious. I think the interior of the 370z is too contrived and tries too hard to be advanced and polished. The 350Z has a utilitarian interior that does its job.

The plastic in the 350z was pretty high-quality stuff if you compare it to many other cars on the market, both in and out of it's price segment. One such example is the Cadillac CTS. My roommate has an 08 CTS, and even he admits that the 350Z has a nicer interior build quality. Most of the media who complained about the interior of the 350z either A) don't know what a no-nonsense sports car interior should look and feel like or B) are comparing it to Porsches, BMWs, and Ferraris.. price?
well comparing a bmw to a nissan is like comparing a nissan to any GM made car basically. Unless you pay a high sticker price all gm interiors will be garbage. The 350 was known for its terrible interior build which is why the interior of the 370 was a high priority...having door handles fall off at ~20K miles is unacceptable.

I think in a roll race it will be pretty close due to the big weight difference and it only has 30 hp more than the z. but in drag the z should win..
