  • @Frankklin08

that may possibly be the dumbest comment I've ever read.

  • there are people of many countries that have such talents: Chinese, Americans, Brazilians. you only have to look for them. let's stop being infantile!

  • unknown Asian guitar soloist lol. made me laugh.

  • @Muskiet

Search for "Li Jie" ( her name ) in YouTube or over the internet.

  • Don't forget she/he :) must be forced to play guitar for like 15 hours a day by the parents because remeber in such a big population to be different is very difficult soo sry to tell you this but she must hate guitar (my theory)

  • @anishwij

Only a pathetic loser would say such things.

  • @anishwij and you are an idiot, SHE loves playing the guitar, NO clever musician would practice for that long, not even close, it would cause way too much damage and give rss to anyone who did ¬¬

  • @anishwij dont forget Americans must be forced anal rape by their parents everyday. It's not a theory, it's true. these things only happen in america

  • Brilliant.

  • Great!

  • fuck u girl .I.

I can play smoke in the water

  • i have a feeling if she went out to somewhere in europe, whip out her guitar and start playing, she would earn like a million dollars a day.

  • woooooooooooooooooow.amazing.

  • i wish i can sweep with my fingers

  • She looks beautiful.

  • i wonder what that hand can do for a man

  • Unknown? This is Li Jie, for sure though!!

  • She broke the world. My mind is full of note!

  • Is it strange that whenever I hear this song I wanna headbang?

The intro sounds pretty damn metal to me.

  • is it a guy or a girl? either way, to play this he/she HAS to be a virgin...

  • @pantera86

You sure talk a lot despite not being able to tell whether someone is a man or a woman. Sounds more like you had your first time laid about a week ago and wanna try boasting about in youtube. In other words, you sound not only a FOB unvirgin, but a pretty much unskilled, frustrated as a musician and evidently jealous person. Enough said.

  • @D7maj lmao... dude, you are really funny. Now tell me, is it a man or woman? because thats the whole point. The virgin thing was just a joke, grow up... man what a tight ass u are!!! oh and i love the "enough said" thing... who the fuck are you? Mozart's kid? if so, ill take my hat off and apologize, other than, that mind your own business!

  • its always fun when people try to tell you what feeling is or not, dont you ever get tierd? if you like it and if its "talks" too you, isent that the point.

  • Im sorry...but this is entirely missing the point. Totally missing any soul or emotive content....this si just a sequence of notes played in order. Might as well just put your computer sequencer on and type the notes in.

Compare with the vid at. youtube vPcnGrie__M

    You might understand then.

    Impressive none theless.

  • Why do white people always say asian kids have no social life lol, it just takes about 45 mins to 1 hour per day to reach grade 10 around 14, my sister just finished her grade 10 piano exam, and she is only 13, she plays 30mins to 1 hour per day depending on her mood..and I can say for sure that she is not talented in piano..

Discipline is the real reason that asian kids achieve more in most fields..

  • @starxing618 True dat.

  • @starxing618 naw its because of communism lol

  • Amazing. Can't be played any better.

  • Where did all those musicians that sold their souls to sound this good(supposedly) find the title to it? I have tried to find the title to mine. No results. Does that make me a lost soul? Is there a DMV for souls where I can re-register? Someone get back to me on this, and I don't wanna end paying a bunch of money for some kind of license plate on my ass.Oh wait, I already have that in my wallet, my ID.

  • Beautiful..... I now understand the rumors about the composer selling out to," The Ultimate Bad Guy." I think that that train of thought came from people hearing music of this caliber and admitting to themselves that they would sell their soul to sound this good. Who knows maybe thats what really went down. Check out the documentary about Bernie Worrell. He talks a bit ( maybe about 15 seconds) about the dark lords' role in music. Best explanation I've seen yet-

  • @fernandesfran Thats just Paganini for you. On the verge of insanity.

  • Difficulty - Asian.

  • @Xence22 asians just can't compose a beauty like this lol

  • na bin ne sau

  • guitar.motzart man!m plus

  • Damn that shit is bad to the bone... Ill never get this good on guitar sadly...

  • Lol Paganini on the guitar, what a joke. This is diddly squat compared to playing the piece on the violin, as it was meant to be played.

  • @Tim92G

Meant to violin, oké, but did you know Paganini played guitar also?

  • @Tim92G Ha! That is a lie.

  • Name is Li Jie

"She began studying the classical guitar at the age of 11 (Chinese age) under Professor Chen Zhi (陳志). One year later, she appeared as a performer on the television program "Classical Guitar's Technique and Performance" of China's official national television station CCTV. In 1995, she enrolled into the Middle School (high school) of the prestigious Central Conservatory of Music (CCM) in China. In 2000, she was admitted to the CCM."

  • I'm lovin the fake technicolor set behind her

  • Paganini's music is not about emotions, its about aestetic and composition of music.

    Go listen avril lavigne.

  • Think you are good at something?

Don't worry there will always be an asian kid to humiliate you...

  • @AvellanedaNico

So Asians are better musicians than Brazilians, i doubt that.

  • @AvellanedaNico not a kid btw, they all look young and that's all

  • @gabidasflores shes 14

  • its Herman Lee from Dragonforce when he was a child you idiots !!

  • @L0STH0RIZ0N your such an idiot, dragonforce cant even play their own songs let alone this one. + the musical complexity is infinatly more difficult, The capire sweeps through scales and uses numerous different fingerings. dragonforce is all the same fingerings and mostly the same sweeps used in different frets. please come back when you know how to play guitar and have an understanding of how it is played.

  • @Deathatheist haha, you really take this shit seriously !! its just youtube comments chill out, actually I can play a little bit, but Im not very skilled, however my dad can, he used to play classical flamenco back in his day, so I do have an appreciation for gifted players and this kid is very good

  • It is Li Jie

  • so nie mehr schuften bin so reich

  • too bad she can't play cleanly. No emotion.

  • @dinosaurus020 That is a load of shit. This was flawless. It is obvious she loves playing music. Why else would she dedicate her life to it? You are a moron.

  • that left hand scares me

  • I love music ... i love Japan ... i love this japanese artist girl ... but Paganini is italian genius and I am happy more ...

  • This is one of the hardest classical pieces to play and sound good. Even masters of various instruments can't play it to its full potential.

  • superb!!!

  • this is the best youtube video out there

  • she does not rack a disaprine

  • Wow!!! She's better then Hendrix!

  • @russianspiesx you can't compare Henrix to Classical music.

  • @russianspiesx /watch?v=X8u7px_GzWQ

  • I played classical guitar when i was young. Seeing this remember me how difficult it was and how wonderful she plays. Very very impressive !

  • i dont understand how someone can be this good so young

  • 0_0...... magnifico!!!

  • AMAZING!

  • sounds really terrific, Paganini would have been pleased

  • asian

  • @95Madara95 point?

  • No matter what you do, there's always an asian better, way better than you

  • ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ஜ۩۞۩ஜ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

I just posted my interpretation of a famous spanish classig guitar song.

  • She's not unknown, her name is Li Jie and you can find many of her videos here on Tube.

  • @steve8099 i also hate it when they complain about "feeling" -.-

  • Derp

  • I don't like very much... Most is technique, where's the soul?

  • @MrHeladodelimon I would suggest you try this piece and see how much time you have for soul.

this is a showcase for ability laden with speed and difficulty. One cannot truly appreciate this until you have tried to reach this level on an insturment particularly a stringed insturment. I think she plays it beautifully. Might I suggest listening to some others playing this.

  • @steve8099

Soul is what separates the REAL master from a technician, what we might call a virtuoso. Technique without soul is comendable, but just that. Comendable. It stops short of becoming GREAT ART! Get that?!?

  • @Kostagh I would ask you to point out to me someone playing this piece on the guitar with "soul".....Or perhaps a recording of you doing it. I have been playing for years and I think she does a sectacular job. Look at her age and the number of pieces she plays and the difficulty of them, soul=interpretation or is it soul = how you think it should be played. (sorry typo above the word is spectacular.) What is Great art to you????

  • @steve8099 Don't let them get to you - I don't think many people even understand the meaning of "soul" when they say reference it with music. It's just a form of attachment to authenticity and emotional expression. Like you said, this woman can get a "soul" when she's older, because a "soul"can be easily obtained in contrast to her technique which she lost her childhood for. I know how some Asian parents are when they discover their children have talent and go overboard training them.

  • @lugia3 thank you, I have never witnessed a soul playing an insturment. The soul referenced is the"interpretation" of the piece. This comes after one has practiced so much that they no longer need to think so much about what they are doing and can allow how they feel into the performance. How we feel is a work in progress. The intensity of these feelings can transform a performance into something wonderful.

  • @Kostagh Who says she's got no soul? and what do you define as soul? The piece is well interpreted and technically sound - what else is there?

  • @kly45 Hahaha his brain is just too slow to catch it....... yep.

  • @steve8099 Just because I don't know to play this I can't give my opinion? Oh well... Just because I'm not baker I wont give my opinion about bread.

She has merit, and it's certainly difficult, but for me music is something more than that. I prefer soul to technique. But technique (and especially in classical music) is obviously important.

    Do you like bread?

  • @MrHeladodelimon I support your right to an opinion. Its easy to be an armchair critic. Like its easy to be a spectator sports expert but its harder to play at the level you expect of others. Its more difficult to bake a world class loaf of bread than to critique someone elses. Due you truely excell at anything, have people that have no understanding commented to you?? Listen to some others play this piece. Then maybe appreciation will enter your opinion.

  • @steve8099 I have listened to some others. Still thinking same.

See, I'm writer, and people have right to criticize me, and not just anothers writers, people with different proffesions too.

And if I had the chance to tell her directly she's rather souless, surely would not do, I think she don't care about my point of view. But this is Youtube. I know his work takes effort, and I don't despise it but I still can criticize.

  • @MrHeladodelimon I have enjoyed our talk but it seems it is a stalemate. Unless you have tried to attain this level musically you don't understand the sacrifices and dedication involved. This girl quite literally missed her childhood to accomplish this. As she has more experiences in her life both good and bad that soul you look for will show up. In this video she is about 16, she has time.

  • @steve8099 Yes, maybe soul item it's too much subjective. And I'm still not quite agree on your argument about have tried and had the experience. Whatever, tolerance.

  • Comment removed

  • @MrHeladodelimon I hear it, it takes soul to hear soul

  • @Putortous My souls says she's offended

  • @MrHeladodelimon The soul is in her playing.

  • fucking asians!!!

  • does anyone know who's this girl?

  • Freakin' perfect!! It's been a loong time since I've last seen this video. The way she treats the instrument with such smooth and respect, the perfect sound...it's a deep relationship with her instrument, a real musician.

  • porque alguien como ella no se hecho famosa, es espectacular :D because someone like she did not become famous, is spectacular

  • you are amazing, eres maravillosa

  • So cold and mechanical, there's absolutely no feeling in this at all...

  • @annoythefish Guess you not can play guitar yourself. She absolutely have feeling when she plays, listen how the end tones come in a way of feeling in each part. Only beacuse she looks stiff, its not the same as playing without feeling. She is a great artist playing theese Capreces originally made for violin. This is just amazing !

I have been playing guitar for moore that 30 years, so my friends, We all love hearing this.

  • @dnabiologic I've been playing for 7 years now and I can absolutely tell when someone is playing something because they learned it and want to repeat it, and when someone plays something because they feel it in their soul. You must not be very good and one of those dudes that play other peoples music and doesn't compose their own.

  • @annoythefish The debate here is really talking about whether playing music is for the musician or for the audience - in this case, unless you're one of those folks who troll on youtube putting down every guitar player that's not to your liking (whether it be due to popularity, style, genre, age, color, religion, ...) - close your eyes and listen, see if it makes a difference. It sure as hell sounds emotive to the many who've listened to this interpretation.

  • @kyonist Calling people who you disagree with a troll? Uninstall your computer, throw it in the trash, call the police, and never post on youtube again.

  • @annoythefish you need to read more carefully the word troll was used as a verb to describe an action not as a name.. As for this discussion music is for the musician and for the audience, if musicians didn't get any satisfaction from playing there wouldn't be any. Even composers play the music of others. While some have the gift to make sheet music live with their interpretation. musicians and composers are both needed in the world.

  • @kyonist just read you comment to @annotthefish: Well said,,, To be a critic the first

is to forget all the rest and purely take in what you hear, taste or feel.

Only the we can get new expereinces, and understand new

ways of expressions. Every pice of music can allways be played in so many different ways.

Here I absolutley hear her personal style of interpretaion. And I like it. Glad you do to :)

  • @annoythefish If the video had Steve Vai playing instead... exact same audio from her.. you would probably say its amazing and full of feeling. You don't have a fucking clue of what you are talking about. If its played exactly as written, its cold and mechanical. So "feeling" must be mistakes or a lack of timing.

  • @notoncemoreagain No dude, I feel the same way about vai, he can be just as cold and mechanical

  • i wish i was asian and had no social life.......

  • @guillotinedeath hahahaha good one!!! :D

  • amazing

  • Bravo!

  • Hey Dave Mustaine, this little girl is better than you. How does that make you feel?

  • Chinese girl plays perfect classic guitar, perfect violin, perfect piano. If you envy them, just need to say, oh, she looks like a robot. Why? because she is beyond the perfect.

  • btw. She is called Li Jie.

  • simply beautiful

  • wowww

  • Seriously the tone and feeling ar unsurpassed if more guitarists spent time trying to be this genuine and not posting comments on you tube the world would be a better place.

  • amazing piece

  • uh...i meant girl, i guess.

  • why is this guy not playing for cannibal corpse?

  • @DALCRUSHER Because he likes music.
