Dzhabar Askerov vs Chahid Oulad El Hadj @ Rumble of The Kings 2011

This lad is a phenomenon. Some sort of a testicular Priapus. A record breaker. Never seen anyone sporting so exposed testicles: at least in 5 of the fights I saw with him, he had troubles with his balloons. Some sort of a whole galaxy contained between his knees and neck. A very low low kick will likely catch him there, an uppercut will catch him there. I wonder, what will not? I don't think he fakes, but a phenomenon he is!

I have seen many many fights but never have I seen a fighter stand up, lie down again and then stop the fight.. he didn't even luck that hurt when it happened.. but twice?

This Chahid is just a poor sport.. okay, I'll grant that getting kicked in the nuts hurts, but I have never seen anyone, ever, quit because of a low blow. They shake it off, take as much time as needed, and fight on.

This Chahid of yours has done it twice. TWICE. One to Petrosyan and another one to Askerov. And these are just 2 that I know of..

@yobro250 You're right. It's also echoed by some of the things his coaches were shouting. Around 3:15 it sounded somewhat despaired "Come on Chahid, you have to do something". They also wanted him to work with lowkicks a lot more. I think they were also seeing him going passive bit by bit.

The ending seemed a bit odd though. Groin strikes do end matches, ussually knees or really powerfull lowkicks gone wrong, but this didn't look all that powerfull.

I'm as puzzled as Krpi,it was clearly a kick in the groin with the foot/ankle and no doubt smashed his cup into his privates.If it was slightly out of position at that moment he would be rendered incapable of continuing,which he was,so how do you get counted out for a foul/illegal shot?

If the judges and referee cannot prove he is playing up you shouldn't be able to count him out.

And it's not like that was even dubious. It was clearly on the cup and the kick moved upwards. The replays don't show it that well but at 4:05 it's clearly visible.
