I have heard a lot of poetic prose. Some is really beautiful. I, like you, adhere to the old definition of poetry, that it must have rhyme and rhythm. I am not putting down poetic prose, but poetry is poetry.
A rose is beautiful. So is a carnation. Calling a carnation a rose doesn's make it a rose, nor any less beautiful
Yeah, there is an older name for verse libre: They used to call it prose. No meter equals no poem. Hey, I hope I didn't anger you. I would like to know how the interview went with VanDamme.
