  • nice poem - but not all poetry has to rhyme. When I do spoken word, I usually try to rhyme if I can. I like to break rhyme to point a certain phrase or line out. But to each his own - great job

  • I enjoyed the poem immensely. If you have a chance, go ahead and read at any poetry meet you can. Announce before you start that your poetry is in rhyme and rhythm.

    I have heard a lot of poetic prose. Some is really beautiful. I, like you, adhere to the old definition of poetry, that it must have rhyme and rhythm. I am not putting down poetic prose, but poetry is poetry.

    A rose is beautiful. So is a carnation. Calling a carnation a rose doesn's make it a rose, nor any less beautiful
