Mr. Pat, you are a credit to your profession. I learn more from you videos than a whole year in Calculus class...and the videos are free! I'm sure I'm not alone when I say, 'Thank you for your service.' Now, if I can only catch on to parametric equations...
I always tell my students that it IS ok to make a mistake. I wish I knew about that quote earlier though, I would use it all of the time. If one of the greatest mathematicians ever knew he would make mistakes, maybe then 9th and 10th graders will realize it's ok for them to do it also.
I try my best to learn from my mistakes, but with mathematics, I always seem to make a little mistake. Bleh. I don't know how well I'm going to do with my Calculus Midterm if this keeps up...
what do i do if i make careless mistakes or simple computing errors in the process of doing my sums ... its really time consuming as i can sometimes take up to 15 mins trying to figure out my mistake. is there any other way i can use to find out my mistakes in math?
What if you are good at everything, well.. im confident in everything but i just make silly mistakes..... I dont have a black hole'' topic in math its just that i make frankly, silly mistakes.
I have come to request indulgence if in any place it contains something more or less than right or necessary, for to remember everything and be mistaken in nothing is divine rather than human. :)
I like the way this guy teaches math, he doesnt try to be eccentric or novel. He demonstrates and explains.
His method is very down to earth and focused on math. I always hated it when teachers became political or tried to teach me a simple basic math concept and felt like they needed to be unique or novel. This teacher doesnt do that which make it easier to focus on the subject and not waste time trying to filter out anything.

He has an accomplished life; has degrees, has taught, wrote books and is a master at mathematics. Now how can that not be a life?
