Not a Mary Walsh fan, but it looks like this clip cut out too short. You can just see her cracking a smile at the end which leads me to believe the comment was in jest and she was poking fun at MacKay's stumble. Mackay's moment still is priceless...
hes from nova scotia, and i have no respect for this guy at all. even if he brings the troops home today. its gone on too long for kids fighting a american battle.
She doesn't work for the CBC anymore. As far as I know, Mary Walsh: Open Book is on hiatus because she's taken a sabbatical. She has also taken a sabbatical from 22 Minutes, and in my opinion it's never been the same. I don't mean to sound biased, but it's just not the same.
On other note, Hatching Matching and Dispatching has also stopped.
Mary Walsh has been very resistant to anything CBC has tried to tell her, so to call her an arse licker of the CBC would be highly inaccurate.
