thank you. with the recent developments. you are leaning me further and further to your life style. i am a single father, with two kids to think about. the more i watch world events and local events the more i see the need to plan ahead. my question is where to start? what is a good short term goal for a family of 3. feel free to reply in open comment i am sure others are in the same boat an maybe do not want to ask the question.
HELLO GOOD PEOPLE; i have an addeum to your thoughts of survival that many have overlooked and not addressed except by the ones knowledgeable in cold areas - bury your canned mason jars below the frost line in a dairy ,when the power goes out and you have no heat to keep those glass jars from freezing and cracking / this doesnt apply to 50% of you but the rest will see it
If you want to buy something made in THE USA you need to go to an antique store. Anyone remember in the 80s when they use to have ad campaigns on TV for made in the USA products. We need to go to a regional supported economic system where food, energy, and goods come as much as possible from your local area.
You are way ahead of me when I commented about inflation on the previous video. Thank you for moving back into the pantry. (It's a good subliminal message.) + It's a real good video as you reveal that you are extremely angry about what is happening to the USA. (It's how you report the news.) Thank you.
The main-stream news just reports about the destruction of America as though they are 'cheerleaders' for Obama&cronies.
Another great video, not what we want to hear but WE HAVE to hear it. I have been out of work for a VERY long time now. And when you are going on 50 the job market is real thin. My 16 yr old son got a part time job at the same place I had been just 2 wks before. I am a single dad raising my 2 kids, and I am ashamed that my son is bring money into the house and I`m not. I do have a question for you Scott. Will we ever get our jobs back, will these business ever come back to the US?
@MrBbadger62 my 2 cents is.....if we taxed and I mean REALLY taxed imports into the US then I believe the companies would come back at least some of them. It would be hard for us since we have been buying china mart stuff for so long but I believe we could bite the bullet.
you do a great job explaining the situation to us. i consider you well versed, in your opinion as a fellow prepper what would it take to turn america around? you got my vote for president..
I found this the most depressing video I've ever watched on youtube ! Probably because it's outlining so specifically the current economic position. It's almost like watching a suicide mission, watching the USA government borrow more money. I agree with you about Europe - the rest of Jan will see things begin to unravel. China is using its reserves now - Massive amounts of money being dumped in the ECB - it's a bit like watching a slow motion car crash.
@iamsabian "It is like watching a slow motion car crash." Yes indeed. And no doubt we'll get rudely rear-ended by those trying to hurry the pace along. Managed economic collapse (coupe) of Europe infront of our own eyes. History in the making.
well our state economist said last year it would be 2014 before we got back the jobs we lost over the last few years and then this week he changed the out look untill 2017 at the very least thats not even a year after the first one its not looking good for the next few years up here in maine
@geraldb4201 My local news is going all nuts about this place that announced it will add 37 jobs over the next three years. You would have thought it was the second coming.
well youtube at it again.. I can't reply to anyone.. this is to Snaps81625: My wife and I don't do normal shopping anymore either.. It's weird but, once you start prepping your trips to the grocery store changes dramatically.
@cmobley69 Lol yea tell me about it. I look at the ads and look for what is good for dinners etc for the next two weeks then look for what is good for preps.
Electric.. my husband just came home from the neighbors, they had their gas turned off for lack of funds.. so they were running little electric heaters all over their house.. they got their electric bill today.. 800 and some dollars for 2 months...I am so thankful that we are prepared.. I can still pay all my bills.. and buy more food supplies to stash every month.. but gone are the days where I did actual grocery shopping.. Thanks for the update on all the info given us..God Bless You and yours
@snaps81625 Alot of states have cut off their funding to help those in need of winter heating. But yet all these politicians are raising millions of dollars for their campaigns.
welcome to 2012 the yr thats going to be the deciding factor do we straighten out whats left of our country or do we piss n moan about what others have done too get us in this predictament if we make it to the election we will be very lucky i look for the rest of it too fall apart this summer those who have woke up are running very short on time
It is mighty depressing that they can't get thier act together. I have heard that it is all planned, and it is really looking like it very well may be planned to crash our dollar and our american spirits. Thanks for all of your research, my friend. God bless, Catfishchic
@catfishchic They can try to crash, crush, trample what they want. But they'll never, never succeed. Our spirit is too strong and throughout history in times of tremendous hardship, we, humans have come together to help each other and fight when needed. Let them come.
Most people shop every week for groceries etc. so they never notice the increases in price. I shop maybe once every 2 to 3 months so I really notice the increases. The poop has hit the fan but most don't see it..Great info as usual.
