@musashix question in duel is it a radom chance u could win or no? Also I used to have this game it rock but the duels i like very much one time i did a duel with cai weing can't rmemeber her name mei shtang did a speical attack in duel it was long one too, to bad i dont have this game anymore

You have a 90% chance of success in a duel, if your morale is fairly higher than the opposing army. Otherwise, do not use duel. And there are occasions where I have lost a duel with higher morale, but it's rare. Of course certain characters will not duel with you no matter what... Like Yu Jin. The duels are very neat to watch- Jumping off horseback, etc.

you know you should take the warehouse in the top corner instead of helping zhang fei he can win alone. and you should wait with using duel with guan yu before you face himiko then she will say no and lose morale then lui bei should have destroyed the warehouse and then all the morale would drop and you would win. isen't that simple =D but nice played anyway :P

Nah. Kessen II is all about dropping morale with magic, military tactics, and charging. Each time you charge or strike the general, the morale drops faster.

Yeah, in that third person view. You can kill normal soldiers. They just take a couple walks, or charges. You can't kill the generals though, just make them retreat.

is it kessen where u are able to like cast magic spells like a meteor attack or snow? u are also able to set giant traps like avalanches or pit traps before battle.

i used to love them games and i cant remember if it is kessen or not.

i believe there was a level on a ship if that helps.

I didn't find it too hard. Especially if you have healers and generals with the 'silence' ability. It can be really hard if you can't prevent some bosses from using their special skills.

Like Shingen Takeda. He will totally crush your entire army if you can't occasionally silence his special attacks. I think I gave the silence ability to Hideyoshi, Nobunaga, and maybe Kitcho (can't remember). It makes a world of difference.

Kessen 3 is the prequel to Kessen 1. Kessen 2 has nothing to do with either.

Most people like Kessen 1 the best. I like Kessen III because stradegy isn't my strong point. Plus the cinemas are awesome. If you like stradegy games pick Kessen 1. If you like a hybrid action feel, pick Kessen 2. Just know that Kessen 2's story is fictional.

Yes all generals are unique, including lesser characters like Li Dian. That's what makes Kessen 2 more interesting than Dynasty Warriors.

The duels are weak, too. Two guys ride at each other on horses, jump in the air at each other, then one of the mslumps over hurt? pssh.

You have to have a completed game first. The second time through you play without help

strategy to consider, send liu bei to the upper right to take out the supply depot, with that gone the first two of cao cao's officers are pretty much done for. after that, send liu bei to help out guan yu when himiko arrives so he's not overwhelmed. dont worry so much about zhang fei because zhao yun arrives to hit xihaou yuan's backside. this way the last two threats will be outnumbered 2 to 1. im honestly very good at this game so i do know what im talking about :P
