November Favorites (Beauty) & a Quick Bun Tutorial

Is there any way you can start posting an itemized list of your favorites on your blog page or in the additional information on Youtube? I love watching your videos, but when I'm making a shopping list it would be great to have a list without having to re-watch all your videos.

I love curling my hair with a bun, or for me, buns. Because my hair is a little thicker I use 2 buns. I put the top half of my hair in one bun and the bottom half in another. I love the way bun curls looks. =]

After all the raves about NARS Albatross, I thought it would be at least a decent highlighter but it couldn't have looked more wrong on my skin - I have fair skin and it hardly even shows up at all on my skin... it just looks like NOTHING!... except maybe an ugly too-gold patch - it didn't blend nicely or evenly at all. Such a disappointment for such a cult product. Same with Benefit Erase Paste - so hyped up but it's just waxy and wrong. Don't always listen to the hype, girls!

@itsageoffrushthing what's right for them isn't going to be right for you all the time. No need to bash a product. You have to try it before you'll know for sure. If you but it in store try the sample tester on your skin before you spend on ton of money on something you won't use =[

@BrieSuz18 before you talk down to me... just remember that a few of these brands aren't as easily and readily accessible here in Australia and many of the brands are actually double the price... so I do end up purchasing quite a few products online, for obvious reasons. Like a couple of others already said, I would be careful with the Tarte liner on on the waterline. When I tried it my eye just immediately started washing it out and my eyes were bright red and irritated all day. I only use it on my upper lid when I want a more dramatic look. Personally, I don't think it's worth the price tag because of that and it does wear down quickly, but that's just me.

I use the sock method to get my hair curly and I LOVE IT!. You just put your hair still slightly damp up in a very high pony tail pretty much right on your forehead. Then take a sock and cut the toes out of it and roll it up to where it looks like a donut. Then starting at the ends of your hair in the pony tail, start rolling it down over the sock. 4 bobbie pins and then i sleep in it and in the morning my hair looks so cute!

the spin pins are very difficult to use with thick, long hair like mine. But when it works, it really does work! I recommend them for people with long, thin hair or medium thickness hair. I love the tarte products! The are so smooth and they feel so nice on the skin!

@onlinegirl55 it will last until you stop using it. Proactiv was incredibly harsh for me and didn't help at all. The AcneFree system from drugstores worked SO much better and was much more gentle on my skin. If you find Proactiv does not work, try the AcneFree system. It's more affordable also.

Oh Tiffany you need to try the leave in conditioner/moisturizer from Lush. It is called R&B and you put it in your hair when its toweled dried really well (not soaking wet).  You don't need very much either and it works amazing. Keeps your hair from getting static in the winter which i use to have a problem with unitl i tried this. i have tried everything for my hair and nothing works except this stuff and your hair doesn't feel gritty like alot of leave in conditioners. Still shampoo &cond
