  • BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA I'm a conservative BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA I can't handle a little swearing BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA Capitalism is good BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

  • @jjrants Self interest would be creating a good product that perpetuates your business, you make a profit and people come back, no one is being taken advantage of or forced to do anything. Greed being making a cheap product knowing its not going to meet the customers expectations but trying to make a bigger profit in the beginning yet causing your eventual downfall when customers don't return.... only you get a bail out by government who is facilitating that greed as a viable business practice.

  • Disliked with a smile on my face

  • I LOVE THIS VIDEO! Well Said!! hahaha

  • You know what else I hate? Those racist uneducated rednecks that go to the tea party rallys. What good does government do?

Hohoho I can generalize as well!

    Horrible video, horrible person.

  • This is the best thing I have seen that has to do with Occupy Wall Street. I would love to see you do a video on the police pepper spray incident that happened!

  • Matt, right on! I have been happy with the "evil" Bank of America for almost 30 years, but if I ever decide to go elsewhere, Wells Fargo will be at the top of the list. I'd say, "Ask for a raise...", 'cause you represent yourself and therefore, them, very well, but I suspect you've got your career well in control. Cheers to freedom and responsibility!

  • @Shvingter88 Oh no you got me. Your deeply profound statement inspired me to go get a life as apparently I didn't already have one or maybe im missing the symbolism. Someone should etch your words into stone so generations from now our childrens children can admire them. I tip my hat to you sir.

  • @mattwillwork I am not implying that being ignorant is bad, im sure you are skilled in something I have no idea about making me ignorant to that skill, I am well versed in economics and the free market system that I support as well as what happens at the occupations because im not an arm chair politician, I participate.

  • @mattwillwork You again show your ignorance. Occupy Orlando has participated in every local level city meeting and put a hold on or changed decisions that otherwise favored the select corporations we are protesting. Example: Orange County Public schools pulling their money out of Bank of America in favor of local banks, that is something we pushed for and are close to achieving among other direct action we have taken.

  • You do not understand the difference between greed and self interest. This is very biased an inaccurate, you are generalizing millions of individuals because of what a few of them want. I have a full time job a mortgage and dependents and I have occupied for 45 days protesting corporations using government as a tool of force to further their agenda. You sound as ignorant as the people saying all corporations are bad. Read an econ book, greed is a bad thing, self interest is a good thing.

  • @jp6525 You occupied for 45 days? Nice! How'd that work for you? Did your movement accomplish anything? Didn't think so. Thanks for the comment!!!

  • @jp6525 get a life

  • @jp6525 Just for kicks, how about defining the difference between "greed" and "self interest" when you're talking about running a business. I'm curious as hell to hear this one.

  • Matt: As a self-employed architect I wholeheartedly support the occupy movement. Can you direct us to a squeaky clean ethical phone manufacturer/ telco provider please? I'm all ears. Looking forward to hearing from you.

  • @Corbusierronious I think his point here is that, sometimes, to actually make a difference you have to go without the conveniences these companies provide and boycott. By boycotting you are affecting them the only real way you can, by not giving them money.

  • @jayfitzy76 Is deciding not to use a mobile phone an intelligent thing to do? Not if it takes away our ability to thrive as humans, and the costs are feasible. That isn't to say that we don't criticise the mobile providers for corporate greed. We all spend money even though money is controlled to a large extent by evil corporations. Do we stop using money then? No, there is nothing wrong with money in itself. It's just how it's used.

  • fucking spot on brother...these people are skells.....

  • Right on. Those OWS people are filthy pig anarchists who want to topple our way of life and destroy our culture. Marxism is thriving in Cuba, why don't they move over there?

  • This man is spot on. I especially liked what he had to say about these particular people passing by truely homeless people and not giving them the time of day, while they want corporations to finance their demands. ( spread the wealth)

This can be credited to the Community Organizer in Chief, the only job that he ever had before being elected to mooch off us citizens and change a great nation into a bunch of self serving idiots.

  • I can't believe this guy took all the time to create this video showing a myriad of points that mean about zero to any critically thinking person. A Corporate/Banking Schill maybe?

  • Let me smash one of the most ignorant arguments made against Occupy. That occupiers shouldn't attack corporations if they buy something from them. Let me make you all aware, because somehow some of you do not know this. ALL of us have bought things from corporations and used government programs. read continuation...

  • continued: So if you hold to the above argument, none of you can say anything against corporations or government and you are beholden to them. You must now accept whatever they do because in your eyes, the act of driving on a highway or buying a product from a corporation has changed reality. All the crimes both establishments have commited in your eyes do not exist. Huh...

  • I own a business (incorporated) and don't do what others in corporate America have done. I still manage to live well. You might say that I support paying the people who work for me enough to do better, not just survive. I support the activities of OWS which point out the economic rape of the people of this country. The bunch you are shilling for are not interested in growing a better place to live.. just living better by growing their bottom line at other's expense.

  • I can't agree more with this video....I am not rich by any means.....but holy shit, does this guy not prove a point or what? everything he say's is true.....the problem is that everyone is jealous of these corporations and the fact that they are not rich like them. Life is what you make of people, so shut up and quit the protesting....all you do is cost tax payers money because of the damage you cause to the city when you protest!

  • @zachman00 Only a someone who hasn't thought about their existence or involvement in this system could find this video to be a valid point. Read my comment on it.

  • Let me rephrase my opinion of Occupy. I believe it is about the fact that corporations own congress, the senate and the large financial institutions own your home, my home, your car, his business, that business etc. to everything. And that have swallowed all the "Bailey S & L" type companies. They own everything include our government. We need the regulations to put investments and banking down. They don't care about you either. Regardless of your company loyalty. Corporations dont care!

  • Very Good Point. Painful, but true points. I am against money and politics, which is what I think Occupy is about. I have worked for over 35 years. I CANT FIND A JOB! I'll work. Just this week over 50 resume and numerous phone calls, several testing and nothing for this 51 year old experienced bookkeeper. So saying "Get a Job" is not fair. Ill say Please, get me a job. Mr. know it all. You may be a pink slip away too.

  • Matt... you rock... wish we had you on MagChat with the other sane inmates ;-)

  • Keep fighting the good fight against ignorant hypocrites. Out of curiosity do you work as a trader? I'm a 24 year old 2011 graduated who has just begun working as a commodity broker and my entire office just enjoyed your rant. Take care buddy

  • Such angry comments by the viewers, I guess the truth hurts.

  • @30calcowboy What truth is he talking about?

  • Quick note: if you pause the video at 0:03, you trolls out there can have some fun.

  • Angry comments, the truth hurts.

  • Thanks for bleeping!!!

  • While I may agree with you on some minor points, you've done a poor job generalizing the movement and you've done a lousy job generalizing the thousands of people from all over the world taking part in the movement. Your abhorrent and hateful approach of justifying your opinions just makes you seem desperate and small minded. Thumbs down. Also, I hope you realize that you are now part of the movement. You are helping spread the word and you are enticing folks to join in on the conversation.

  • @occupytheworld22 That's funny you'd say that, because I work for Wells Fargo. We laugh at your silly attempts to disrupt our business. And then we laugh when your organization deposited $20,000 into our institution. You could say we laughed "all the way to the bank!" HAW HAW!

  • @mattwillwork OCCUPY WALL STREET

  • @mattwillwork Might want to watch "Inside Job".

  • @mattwillwork im actually blushing that someone who has made a video that is so popular is responding to my 2 cents.....well here goes.....if your so confident that all of youWells Fargo employees are laughing at us then i will prove you are a part of the sheep. Dont believe me? what branch do you work for? city, state , ect.......cat got your tongue? Just what i thought you cant respond unless its a lie......thats what happens to non union employees....talk smack=fired

  • @mattwillwork Good job pointing out hypocracy. Not! Your petty banter is useless due your failure to address the real problems that Occupy is about. Economic inequality. And not just any economic inequality, the kind where bankers are in the same league as mob bosses like Al Capone.

I could make the arguement that Rabindranath Tagore was a hypocrate because he saw the very people who made him wealthy as immoral and even joined revolts against them. But, it doesn't dispute any of his arguments.

  • @andrew1717xx Economic inequality? This is a country of freedom, and that freedom includes the right to succeed without limitations. So, why don't you stop being a jealous dolt and do something productive with your life. Maybe then you'll get those millions you are so desperately wanting.

  • @SidJustice22 1. I dont think you understand the fullness of my argument.

    2. You attack me instead of my argument due to lack of facts.

To clarify my argument. 1. The banks stole Americans tax dollars. 2. The politicians do nothing to deal with this.

Both are part of economic inequality. So, by you pointing out that we all live in a corperate world is useless disputing the occupy movement. Pointing out the state of the world doesn't challange 1+2. If anything it reinforces them.

  • @SidJustice22 Also, I just wanted to point out that when you say "over-educated" you are essentially saying I'm proud to be under-educated. Do you understand how non-sensical that is? That is saying "learning is bad." So, in your mind what is the right amount of education? Knowing how to breath? Common buddy, knock some sense into yourself.

Maybe ask yourself, "could there be something behind this guys argument?" And "maybe there are people who are more knowledgible then i? "MAYBE I can learn"

  • @SidJustice22 So, lets recap. You calling the "hipsters" losers because they are hypocrates (for living in a corperate world), who are overeducated without a job. Due to the banks litterally stoling American money and the politicians do nothing (1+2) these people who are "overeducated" and "unemployed" are essentially calling for attention to the issues and then reform. So when they are protesting to give the children who could watch your "family friendly" video a future, you sit and critize.

  • @andrew1717xx I never once used the term "over-educated". However, the Clinton administration should have never pressured institutions like Freddie Mac to expand mortgage loans to low income earners. The borrower is as much to blame. Live within your means. You're 20 years old, what, if any, have you contributed to the system you feel owes you something?

    Go Occupy Washington.

Also, I don't think I can learn much from a guy that can't spell "knowledgeable" correctly.

  • @SidJustice22 Yes you say "over-educated" at 0:04-0:07.

    1. You are denying political corruption by the corprations.

    2. You are ignoring the fact they the same corperations that had record bonus' after the 2008 collapse stole money from the American public.

    3. You attack myself instead of disputing my points. So what if I'm 20? So what if I didn't care enough to spell check myself because of the total misunderstanding you seem to have with reality.

  • Do you understand that attacking myself or character is not different then the kids in the public education system calling their peers names. "Faggot" is one thrown around. Calling me "20 years old" is an attack on my person and character asserting that because you are older you must know better. That being said, do you now understand that calling someone "over-educated" is not only non-sensical but is on the same ground as calling some kid a "faggot". Please tell me what you do not understand.

  • @mattwillwork Funny you should say that, because OWS withdrew 4.5 Billion from your holier than thou banks. You could say OWS laughed all the way to the Credit Unions! PINK SLIPS ARE COMMING! lol, lol, lol, lol, lol, lol, lol, lol, lol, lol, lol, lol, lol, breath, lol, lol, lol, lol, lol, lol, lol, lol, breath, lol, lol, lol, lol, lol, lol, lol, lol, lol, breath, lol, lol, lol, lol, lol, lol, lol, lol, breath, lol, lol, lol, lol, lol, lol, lol, lol, lol, breath, lol, lol, lol, lol, lol, lol, lol, lol, lol, lol, lol, breath!

  • @mattwillwork So you are proud of the massive fraud commited against the American people? How nice.

  • @mattwillwork No worry, the plan that has had 1.5 million people remove funds from big banks and put their money in small banks and credit unions will continue. If it doesn't work you'll crash the whole thing again. Unless you are one of the really big players at the top, which I highly doubt, you'll crumble with everyone else. If not, the populations reaction will be 100 times what it is now. Question, How do number crunchers with no social understanding work in these institutions?

  • @mattwillwork Nice! My company does a lot of their banking with Wells Fargo. it's a small, privately owned company that I am quite happy working for. If you see a "showcase" of a small business out of CT through WF in the next two months, be sure to look for me. XD I don't see any corporate "greed" BTW. They buy us lunch every Friday.

  • @mattwillwork Really!! It makes me want to do business with Wells Fargo... LMAO!

  • Why don't the happless naive neo commies protest Obama in front of the white house ???

HE bailed the banks out ..HE has been in charge for 3 YRS !! and unemployment rose to 10+% and stayed there .

Sleeping in a park and smoking weed will never accomplish anything ! despite what your commie, fork tongued, hypocrite, professors told you.

Take a "course" in work ethic...nobody owes you lazy loser freaks anything !

  • I can't believe what I am hearing! You obviously watch to much T.V., and listen to there rhetoric , and do not know who really runs this country, and what there agenda is. Maybe you should do some research before you put your foot in your mouth again!

  • WE ARE HOPING FOR ANOTHER GOOD YEAR OF CEO BONUSES AT CHRISTMAS AND THIS HOLIDAY SEASON ARE STOCKS HAVE JUMPED QUITE A MARGIN DUE TO LOW INTERST RATES AND CHEAP MONEY HOPEFULLY WE WILL REACH AN ALL TIME HIGH FROM THIS EFFORT. FROM THE NATIONS CEOS, WE

WANT TO THANK THE PEOPLE GLOBALLY.

  • lets Educate yu with some truth mattwillwork

right now the loan providers who provide student loans in America are in bed with government and because of this they can charge as much interest as they want on loans and its not fixed. So you see mattwillwork you could borrow 50k a year for a good college and get charged 20k a year in interest an thers nothing to stop them from charging $1 million a year in interest.

Result = YOUR A SLAVE FOR LIFE

  • I think its an excellant idea to use the mobile phone networks belonging to the corporations because if they try to stop you from organising protests then they would have to shut down the network and by doing so they hurt themselves.

In Gorilla war fare you take the weapons of your enemy and use them against him .....now if the only weapon available is an AK - 47 then does it make you a communist because you choose to use it? I think not

  • This guy has been brainwashed to be a good little sheep.

OWS are saying the peoples representatives in congress are there to represent the people and NOT the corporations who lobby them.

If you believe mattwillwork his point of view then you believe it is ok to bribe members of congress.

O an corporations like wallmart have put an end to small and local family run businesses so tell me mattwillwork where should these protesters buy the tools they need to fight the corporate elite?

  • your losing your hair OLD MAN.

  • This man is just unaware of the big picture. He's going to find out and maybe then switch sides and join us.He needs time.

  • 13 people are unemployed over educated stoners.

  • I have no problem with capitalism or turning a profit.

But when I get stuck with the bill for paying banking CEOs bonuses that kinda pisses me off

  • you suck off the break! u suck ...

  • By the way, you talk about boycotting companies like Monsanto? Try it! I'll sit here & laugh at your attempts.

95% of all soybeans & 80% of all corn grown in the US is grown using Monsanto seeds. Monsanto is also working with congress to slowly crush the organic food market.

They're even suing farmers for using their seeds without permission, when it is Monsanto's seeds blowning onto those farmer's fields & ruining their organic crops!

You have no idea how deeply corrupt America is, do you?

  • You idiot...these people are not aganist capitilism or say that big business should not exist.....they are aganist them getting tax money bail outs when their business models fail and they go bankrupt.

They are aganist big business having more say in governement than the people. He does even know what they are protesting about...he thinks they are just aganist big business in general....fool.

  • @Sept11Discovery then why do half the signs held up at these protests say "end capitalism" or "end corporate greed"?

  • @turtles79 ....half the signs...did you count them all....have you actually read their demands that are available on their web site(s). or are you just getting your news from the CNN and FOX proganda stations.

end coporate greed sounds good to me.....are you sure they want to end capitalism...you better look again.

  • @Sept11Discovery sorry I didnt actually count all the signs but im giving a rough estimate from the ones I have seen even from places like msnbc and cbs or is every news station just "proganda" in your eyes?

and if you could enlighten me on their demands that would be really helpful because to me it seems like they dont really know what they want to happen and just want a free handout

  • @turtles79 the mainstream media focuses on what they want you to see..

    some of their demands:

They want the people to have more say in Govt Policies than Big Business.

They want to stop big business with bad business models are bailed out.

They want to know why money can be found to bail out these big business and fight multiple wars, but money cannot be found to keep Ameriocan Families in their homes.

Why don't you just google OWS web page and you will find it. There is alot more.

  • @Sept11Discovery if some of these big businesses werent bailed out then thousands and thousands of more people would have lost their jobs and that means thousands and thousands of more people would have lost their homes. Basically they have no real demands or ideas of what they want to happen.

  • @turtles79 then fine..let the business go belly up. Capitilism is about businesses with good practices, good services and or products performing a great job and making a profit. If the business is doing poor then it should fail. Why pump money into bad business practices....and another company or new better company will emerge.....the money that is given to these business that are about to fail, will be better used on unemployment insurance for anyone who does lose their job cuz of it...

  • @turtles.....and I am talking about the bad if not criminal business practices of the large banks

  • If this guy was talking in 1960....he would be calling MLK a communist.

  • There's a difference between wanting to profit through healthy competition...& wanting to profit at the expense of other's liberties, jobs, economy & environment.

Take Monsanto. It dumped PCB into the ground without telling local communities. Their communities developed large amounts of growths & cancers. While the community fought Monsanto, the company was protected from legal harm by the government.

So, what's wrong with corrupt companies wanting to make a profit? Well...at who's expense?

  • awsome man. well said.

  • Matt... I shared the PG version with the crew on MagChat but as I expected... they prefer the somewhat less PG & PC version... keep the comments coming!!
