  • People this dude is clearly speaking to those individuals who don't move their bodies after drinking juice. He's extremely healthy and very knowledgeable and is passionate about his good will towards others health. Granted not everyones body is the same but.. and I do mean but I have seen so many people feel sick after drinking juice and not moving around. Sugar, no matter what kind is used for energy. You're supposed to move around after you intake sugar. That's what he's saying.

  • Thanks for sharing, this is true and how you know, is look at all of the comments that are attacking what you are saying. People don't question their doctors but they'll question someone who is giving helpful information. If you don't agree, then move on, it is not that serious. One thing is for sure, if everyone knew what caused diabetes, cancer, and etc. people would still suffer from the diseases because most people don't want to know, rather they sit & look for videos on utube to criticize.

  • I like that purple stuff.

  • Why is it that people who eat and live "healthy", seem to be in worst condition? You crash in half an hour after you have eaten an apple? Man, I am fat as fuck and dont exercise, still I can eat what ever the fuck I want and not crash. Booya!

  • @4chatStonar Not true in my case. Whenever you're ready, check me out.

  • u r soooooooooo annoying!!! and wrong!! welldone for eating nuts and fruits 2gether.. but way to be insuline resistance!!! i cant belive i was a fun of yours for so long.. aint no more as i follow dr.Ray Peat!!

  • LOL Sean...man youre hilarious...throwing up the J! I went to Indiana University for Kinesiology concentration in Exercise Science. I love the videos. Keep up the good work. These have and are helping tremendously with some of misconceptions and misinformation I have picked up. Ill be picking up the DSOFL today.

  • Wrong Wrong!! polyunsaturated fats cause insuline resistance!! learn from dr.Ray Peat

  • This is ridiculous. Fruit/fruit juice doesn't cause diabetes. Fat does. Why do you think it is that obese people have higher chance of getting diabetes? High fat diet clogs the lymphatic system and the insulin receptor sites. People mistakingly put fruit and fruit juice in the same category as doughnuts, white rice, white pasta, cakes, candy, and all the other crap out there.

  • it doesn't matter if the fruit juice is fresh or not....it's FRUCTOSE....it's basically conentrating the sugars of several pieces of fruit without the helpful fiber and othe nutrients in the skin, etc.... this guy is spot on....per usual.

  • We are a Juice Business and there are varying views on this matter, we do not however encourage juice over water, but we certainly provide an alternative for the people out there who drink Unhealthy drinks SODA and Processed Fruit Drinks. People will always opt for a sweet drink unless they're zealously health conscious, what we try to do is give them a better option, or would you rather them drink SODA.

  • he gives a good example of putting 5 apples in a juicer and drinking it. That is not good at all. You're better off eating one whole apple. By juicing a bunch of apples, you're extracting the fiber and getting pure sugar......

  • FRUIT IS AWESOME!!! DOES NOT AFFECT INSULIN...watch Dr. Robert Morse videos ( he is a bio-chemist, naturopath, herbalist and iridologist)

  • @latinakhattar I totally agree with you. I would be diabetic by now or would be suffering from hypoglycemia if fruit and fruit juice caused insulin problems. Everyone needs to go to Dr. Morse's channel.

  • @highsugarfruit

I think he is talking about the processed fruit juice you buy in stores.

Fresh juice is ok he says, but if its processed, its a no no.

  • @CBasie2856 He is clearly talking about fructose found in both processed juice as well as fresh fruit. If fructose caused diabetes, then I would be diabetic by now. I have eaten tons of fruit (including high sugar fruit like dates, and figs) and drank tons of frershly squeezed fruit juice for years. I never had blood sugar problems nor do I crash after eaiting or drinking fructose. Whats not normal is that Sean has blood sugar issues after only eating couple of apples b/c of his high fat diet..

  • @highsugarfruit

I am on the same diet as you are, and a few months ago I was on a high fat diet.

but I agree, blood sugar issues are not normal if you are healthy.

Sean must not be very healthy.

  • How would something like V8 fit into this? It's low in sugar, but by the time you drink it would most of the nutrition have been destroyed?

  • 5 a day made easy . 3 glasses of water 4 spoon fulls of sugar and a vitimin C tablet job done.

  • what about fresh juice? im on a juice diet, such a apples carrot oranges cucumber broccoli cauliflower tomatoes spinach etc. is that bad for me?

  • @IamProbablythebest

Nope. Just keep the high sugar fruits to a minimum. Keep it green!

  • @IamProbablythebest as long as the juice your consuming is not from concentrate or pasteurized it is great for you. if you care to know why send me a PM and ill go into scientific detail.

  • @shylockalpha If you knew what you are talking about you wouldn't be ignorant. I'll bet that you think that milk is good for you too

  • You are right on target my friend! The sugar is too concentrated!!!

  • I've been watching this dudes videos and he's pretty on-track with what I've read from phd's in nutrition. There is reason to be paranoid about foods because the more you learn, the more you realize that the average grocery store is full of poison. I lost 30 pounds in 3 months eating whole foods cutting out the garbage just like he talks about.

  • This dude seems to be scared of shit loads of food!!!! Ok juice is full of sugar. But have a little now and then and you'll be ok............as the doctor says.....everything in moderation!

  • I agree, I am in the medical field and it is so true. SUGAR IS SUGAR no matter how it is packaged. Ask a diabetic how much juice and fruit they can consume. That would/should give you an idea of how it's all about a balanced diet and being informed. GOOD STUFF. Nevermind the haters - real talk.

  • @empressjahada thanks for your profesisonal addendum :) helpful!.

    Paul, just subscribed.

  • High Fructose corn sugar or sweetener is the leading cause of Diabetes in America, not fructose from natural fruit juice. Yes, you should manly drink more vegetable juice than fruit juice. Never consume store brought veggie nor fruit juice. Yes, you can drink too much fruit juice, but you're telling people to avoid fruit juice - they should actually avoid your videos LOL!!

  • @MrMickey2000 What you just said is laughable: fructose from corn syrup is the problem not fructose from other things??? LOL it's all the same fructose whether you get it from corn or apples or oranges. Clearly you didn't hear a thing he said. He said go ahead and make your own juice. YOU go ahead and avoid these videos then we can avoid your stupid comments.

  • Keep juicing, just not fruits.

  • Tea is the way to go or watered down juice extract

  • I "discovered" the coconut oil and now cannot even stand the smell of coconut anything. *gag* Coconut oil is supposed to help you lose weight, lube the joints, etc etc.......but I cannot even stand to open the lid anymore. / Good explanation on the juice. If it has calories.....call it what it is....FOOD. Not a beverage. And fruit has sugar. Not cane sugar or GMO sugar beet sugar...but your body treats it like sugar. Tell the juice zombies to get over it or get over it, but PICK ONE.

  • Would you consider coconut water the same as juice? I don’t know how much sugar it has, but I assume it’s fructose? Do you think coconut water is dangerous how you describe juice? Thanks.

  • If it's not water, then you MUST treat it like food....because it is. I'm sending this vid to my friend who is on the 'juice diet' to lose weight!!

  • @theartist53 what about coconut water? It even says “water” in the name. Treat that like a food? What’s your opinion.

  • If it's not water, then you MUST treat it like food....because it is.

  • please don't forget that most 'Juices" are pasteurized too ... Cooked to 165 degrees.. As far as I know anything cooked is also put into an alkali state... alkali in = an acidic body= Not good for a better life.. just my .02$

  • fatsickandnearlydead9DOT)COM better watch this documentary first before saying anything fool. Saying juice is bad and posting beer photos. lol. Is this your health gurus guys?

  • I like the way that you teach people. you explain everything so well and you have a sense of humor about things as well. Very positive and easygoing. Thank you for all of the information! :)

  • Eat fruit, not juice. The benefits of fruit greatly outweight the amount of natural sugar.

  • Look up 'I eat 50 bananas a day' on youtube.

I like how Croxton rags on juice but he has photos on FB of him getting tanked on beer.

    Moron.

  • @durianriders lol I hear he also likes chocolate cake.

  • Many of the micronutrients in fruit oxidize very quickly. That is why fresh squeezed juice is really the only healthy kind of juice. Also, just about every kind of juice in the world is pasteurized. The pasteurization process kills off all the enzymes that help our body break down the nutrients. So even if it says there is vitamin C in the juice, without the natural enzymes your body cant use it. Might as well just eat it.

  • Juice = Fruit - Fiber. The fiber is what makes you feel "full". So without it, you can take in much to much fructose.

  • Eat whatever you want. Fruit, vegetables, Pork, Beef, eggs, fish, sugar candy, ice cream, pie, sweet tea. Its all good. My grandparents did that and they are both in their 90's. Just stay fit and keep your weight on point. Its all good. People need to stop tripping!

  • @hawkermustang what terrible advice. Just because you have good family genes doesn''t mean everyone else does too. People who are prone to diseases like cancer can drastically alter this by changing their diet.

  • @fantard100 Its all good in moderation bro. Too much of anything is bad.

  • @hawkermustang I agree with you there! I myself love a piece of chocolate cake ONCE in a while :)

  • @fantard100 Technically, "all things in moderation" applies to healthy foods only. Bad foods you're not supposed to indulge in at all.

  • @rpmangin Then again, we're all going to die anyway.

  • High frutose is bad for you.

  • Oh hai! Have you thought about intellectus diet (do a google search for intellectus424dietcom)? Ive heard some incredible things about it and my buddy lost a ton of weight with it.

  • I laughed so hard when you were like "the juice gang bangers just like came out throwing up the J!" hahahahha I drink 12 oz of the dole, no sugar added pineapple juice. I don't consider it a health food but its helped me get off of dairy and gluten. I absolutely agree that juice doesn't help diabetes. It hits your blood stream so fast that, you can put orange juice in your mouth and not swallow and just let it sit in your mouth for a minute and when you take your blood sugar, it will be up!!!

  • Good video. The fruit available to modern humans is bred to maximize sweetness.

Search youtube for "Dr. RIchard Johnson on fructose". He found that consuming fructose raises uric acid levels which can lead to high blood pressure, diabetes and other inflammation related problems.

He recommends we take in no more than 26 grams of fructose/day from all sources.

  • Thanks for another excellent video.

  • how about those fruit smoothies? do or dont ?

  • Comment removed

  • thats so true about crashing after fruit. when i eat an apple it feels like almost instantly i crash and im starving after eating it

  • very interesting :)

  • 1 steak increases insulin to that if you were to consume half a pound of sugar.

  • "fruit gang bangers throw up that big J. J is what we claim. big jumbo juice is where we hang at. say no to unhealthy water and soda cause juice is full of big vitamin C.

  • Then that would mean that eating fruits give you dibetes right?

  • @macktysontv No, eating 5 apples, 3 times a day, in 50 seconds would.....Which is what you do when you drink lots of Juice. We don't do this if we eat fruit as a 'whole'

  • Comment removed

  • An apple a day, keeps the doctor away is a lie! God said, Don't eat the fruit from a certain tree. Interesting God used this symbol to express himself.

  • Great video, mate. What's your opinion on milk?

  • good post most drinks are full of man mad sweeteners high fuctose corn syrup is so bad for you..aspartame is another sweetener in diet drinks this shit is killing people slowly drink more water people.....if its sweet or salty spit it out because its bad for you.....bananas are good if you need some thing sweet plus its full of potasium

  • Excellent video am 21 and from the age of say 15 I rarely drink water mainly orange Juice and fizzy drinks this is fab and everything you say is soooo true. I have decided to be more healthy not get diabetes as and stop putting on weight so WATER is my drink always not juice or coke

  • Fruit juice is concentrated sugar and so is not good for you... if you want health benefits from fruit eat a fruit. Eating organic peanut butter with your fruit can help as well.

  • im with you about juice man.

complete garbage, why not just eat the damn fruit!

its only good to keep the kid quite

  • Whats worst for me is the Diabetes run though my dads part of the family so its easier for me to get diabetes thanks for the wronging

  • you are correct fruit juice isn't good for the body. whole fruit in moderation is full of nutrients fiber and just plan tasty . our ancestors did in fact dry, pickle, preserve in sugar or honey, fill barrels of apples and sink them in frozen lakes and don't forget ferment fruit it was safer then water not saying you are wrong but know the facts.

  • Our ancestors also didn't have an operation when they got appendicitis. So go and die from appendicitis. What a ridiculous excuse for an argument.

  • What are you classing as juice? If I blended say 2 apples, 2 bananas, a orange, some kale, bit lemon juice... would you say this smoothy was high in Fructose?

  • @TheaDragonSpirit - oh and some water. 200ml.

  • @TheaDragonSpirit Yes! Why are you eating 5 whole fruits at once, in 20 seconds?

  • @ytcf71 - I don't eat them in twenty seconds... normally takes me about 10 to 20 minutes to drink it... and I don't always finish it.

  • @TheaDragonSpirit They have fiber in em. Its ok. Fruit Juice doesnt have fiber.

  • Watch again! He is talking against juices from concentrates, not those you blend yourself.

Anyway, you can add some protein powder to your smoothie.

  • @Vladimir551 - Thanks... I add hemp protein powder now and then to my smoothies to give me protein. - He also said juicing. I don't juice very often. I blend to keep most the fiber in the smoothy.

  • @Vladimir551 Belnding yourself still isnt good. Like he said you would never eat 5 apples at once. But in a smoothie you are. Just eat fruit as it is meant to be eaten.

  • @ytcf71 Keeping the original fiber in the fruit might slow down absorption of the fruit sugar, which may keep the liver from being overtaxed. I agree with on portion control, though- That's the key to keeping any smoothie healthy. Don't add any more to the mix than you wouldn't otherwise eat plain at one sitting.

  • I have'nt had juice since I found out I have diabetes 12 months ago and of course juice is no good for a diabetic thats a given who doesnt know that but I getting rid of my diabetes in 6 weeks with Lap Banding,

  • what about fruit in a smoothie in smaller amount? Or mixed with vegetables. I stopped buying fruit juice because of diabetes and I still want to eat fresh fruit, is that ok?

  • That's fine, when you eat whole fruit - you get just a little (compared to a juice from concentrate) fructose packed in fiber.

But peel non-organic whole fruits - don't eat petroleum based wax & pesticide residues that fruits are covered with.

  • I never thought about the high fructose equation about fruit juice before, Thanks, I will definitly keep that in mind

  • in this society, people should stay away from drinking calories period, since it won't really make you feel full, as opposed to food.

  • Drink more Green Juices with your fruit!!!!

  • See Raw for 30 Days Documentary. Raw Food cured & helped Diabetics get off meds

  • My dad has diabetes... and along with many other things he cannot drink concentrated fruit juice (even a small amount of real fruit juice has become an issue) so obviously it is a fact that concentrated fruit juice is bad for us. Your so informative though thank you, i am learning so much. :)

  • @Kndll58 That's not a logical conclusion.

Some people are allergic to the Sun. That doesn't mean the sun's bad for everyone.

People with polyps have trouble with fiber. It doesn't mean fiber is bad.

Juice is 'bad' for your dad, because he damaged an organ that processes carbs. It's not the carbs; it's overt fat that caused the problem.

  • your all getting the wrong idea, hes on about concentrated fruit juices which have no fibre and are loaded with sugar which is all fructose, and there's a video on youtube called 'sugar a bitter truth' and it shows you the real facts fructose has on your liver.

  • Comment removed

  • Wait.....there's an epidimic of diabetes in the US because of all the people eating a lot of fruit(and juice) in the last 20 years????? Meanwhile, NO epidemic in the tropics? And the .001% of us that are fruitarians don't have it either(me, Jay the juicman, Dr G

Screw our recent ancestors. That's completely un-scientific to use humans living out of their natural habitat to see how WE should eat. We should follow our physiology, and our ORIGINAL diet before humans migrated to a cold climate.

  • and those people in tropical countries eat cheap (for them) whole fruits but not processed juices (they cannot afford).... many of them when they immigrate to economically developed countries (like US, EU) they start consuming fruit juices, candies & junk food (they had dreamed about before, but couldn't afford to buy...) and soon get obese, diabetic, hypertonic....

  • Why don't you idiots watch more than one video before commenting? There is another video from either Sean or mr. Chek that said fruit is fine because you are taking in the fructose WITH FIBER.!

  • sir you speak the truth.People don't seem to understand our bodies got used to a certain diet within our 5000,000-i million years of history, and in the last 100 have drastically altered it.Our bodies are not designed to eat like this. Not many 400 pound heifers 10,000 years ago.

  • @AGENTtamerlane Are you really blaming FRUIT for obesity and diseases?????

Never mind the other things that' have changed: more: refined food, made-up food mixing carbs with fat(which nature doesn't do - real cause of diabetes), more cooked food, meat and diary.pesticides, food coloring, MSG, HFCS,

And forget we' are primates and have always eaten fruit.

  • @Gary1111001 Looks like someone didnt pay any attention to this video....

  • @ytcf71 Paying attention is what I do. Instead of just accepting half-truths., I'm well educated in health and diet, and therefore, can spot half-truths and propaganda.

  • ...... the half they don't tell you is that the studies showing trouble with Fructose is shown using genetically modified High Fructose Corn Syrup.

  • @Gary1111001 You didnt pay attention, as you said "Are you really blaming FRUIT for obesity and diseases?????"

...and at not one point in the video does he say that. Watch it again.

  • Interesting at 2:40 checkout "Understanding Candida (with Dr. Doug Graham)"

  • High fat diets causes diabetes, prevents the insulin from working coz your blood doesnt work like it should, so I heard....

  • @bluesdog88 Healthy fats in and of themselves usually only do good things. Fructose, as well as high fructose corn syrup, and sucrose, table sugar, which is half fructose, in liberal amounts will raise blood triglycerides (fat) and over time prevent insulin from working properly as you've stated. How fructose as well as ANYTHING is processed in the body is circumstantial but for your average Joe, Sean is correct. Steer clear of the juice if you dont want to gain weight an have insulin resistance

  • dude you're a tool i drink all the juice i ever want and never have any bad effects from it stop promoting things you really dont have knowledge on

  • @norfdak377 shut it you think your've everyone/vast majority?

this man is very knowledgeable on these types of subjects

  • What I do is juice like, 1 apple, 3 celery stocks, 3 carrots, 1 small cucumber. And Ill make something like that every other day. Is that bad?

  • Also.. seems that elevated insulin can be caused by fructose, through "insulin resistance". In psychiatry, people were injected with insulin to induce "insulin shock" to cause brain damage in attempt to help people with depression. signs of this can be mental slowness, memory impairment, slow neural reaction times, etc. This may be what you described as crashing after eating an apple.

  • I so love you- I appreciate how you just speak the truth, even thought most of the info you give is contraversial. Thanks for just " biringing it" We need the truth even if it hurts <3

  • so what about whole fruit?

  • @Jzend001 He answered that question. Go back, watch the video, and oh, I dunno, pay attention.

  • You know, the more I hear about this and that diet, such and so eating habit, the more it becomes obvious that humans just need to move a lot more. Running etc for way longer than the average office employee does. A high amount of physical action helps the body so much, it's like lack of physical action makes your body more sensitive to food imbalances.

  • The real truth is, you can eat as much of any fruit as you want. It's not going to increase your blood sugar levels much at all even if you ate, say 10 bananas in one sitting... However, your blood sugar WOULD spike if you ate all that fruit after eating fats. This is called 'insulin resistance', and is why many people suffer from diabetes and other diseases. Mercola really should be getting his facts right on this one.

  • @urbanrootz

"However, your blood sugar WOULD spike if you ate all that fruit after eating fats"

Where did you get this information?

It's the reverse. Fat slows down absorption of glucose.

  • i always choose vegtables over fruits, and abviously over fruit without the fiber,

calliflower and broccili, and brussel sprouts are my favirote, they have a lot more fiber than fruits,

  • um, i think you could, say, can your fruit. You hear of canned peaches? you know old style canning.

  • Eat natural and exercise. It doesn't matter how much of it you do, as long as you do both. Counting 1 apple, 2 apples is very silly.

  • That's what I've always told : Juice is AS BAD AS COLA, maybe with a little bit more vitamins but that's it !

Consider juice as t treat, the same as a cake :)

  • look out for the juice gangbangers

  • yeah.... im going to take it from some random dude on the net.... fruit is healthy. and there is so little sugar in natural fruit its not what "gives" you diabetes. if thats all you eat and your family has no history of diabetes youre fine....

  • @BixZsc Dr attkinson said fruits are really not that healthy as they say and people with his diet got skinny that is the only diet that actually works

  • LOL "please quit bangin, put down the J."

  • FRUCTOSE!!

  • This should be called "STOP DRINKING PROCESSED JUICE". This is highly misleading, fresh squeezed fruit juice is one of the healthiest things ever. Actual unprocessed fructose is the purest form of sugar out there, and extremely important. Now if you are eating the standard omnivorous diet, then you might be in trouble, but if you are vegetarian, vegan, or raw vegan you wont ever be in trouble from fruit juice. How many raw vegans have diabetes, none!

  • @MrBodhidave85 Dude he is right. Look at the number of people with diabetes in the US? We thought is from pizza and junk. But mainly is from soda, donut, LOTS of simple sugar like fruit. An apple 1 or 2 a day is ok, but putting so much simple sugar in you cause your insulin to spike resulting in sugar crash. Only after a workout you should consume lots of sugar.

  • @deonvan our cops are wanna die soon because they eat a lot of donuts

  • @Gideon359 Yes... No wonder criminal get a way most of the time because their fat ass can't catch them. Scary thing about donut and sugar is thait it rotten inside you as you get older without knowing, then you end up with diabete and blood sugar imbalance.

  • I would say that it's ok to eat/drink some sugar here and there as long as you work out. working out lowers insuline. I eat like 3-4 bananas per day and I feel pretty good. just combine it with some peanut butter or something

  • There's nothing wrong with fresh-squeezed juices. The fructose is actually slow absorbing unlike the processed sugar that people usually consume or that's added to concentrated juices in those small boxes. Your liver is the first organ that sees everything your gut absorbs and it will actually convert the fructose to glucose simply because glucose is the currency substrate used by the body -- so that's why your doctor doesn't check your blood fructose levels -- they are insignificant

  • @mikek241

"There's nothing wrong with fresh-squeezed juices. The fructose is actually slow absorbing unlike the processed sugar that people usually consume or that's added to concentrated juices in those small boxes."

Fructose is fructose. Maybe the pulp will help but it still has to be processed by the liver. The danger from fruit juices doesn't come from only those with added sugar or corn syrup. Processed juice does not meen juice with added sweeteners. Fructose kills

  • That was interesting, never would have thought about it that way... But your logic seems sound... I went off most fruit juices when I began looking into concentrates and seeing how none of it had any vitamins at all. So I was best going for none concentrate, Now your saying that by extracting all the sugar juice and leaving out all the rest and making it into "Tropicana" you effectively overloading yourself. So what about fruitarians, are they going to get diabetes?

  • It's like when a child picks out the sugary bits in his cereal but doesn't eat the good bits

  • GReat information, but its not just diabetes that fructose causes how about obesity, heart disease, metabolic syndrom.

Watch Sugar The Bitter Truth video for a real eye opener.

  • Now here`s a guy who knows what he`s talking about. Thanks for getting all the facts out there. My family drinks juice all the time and it litterally makes me CRINGE!!!!!I have sent them your video and I pray it gets through to them. Thanks again

  • Customizing your vitamins is the right way to stay healthy. Check out my vids and playlists! If not, at least do your research. This new company I speak of also has "Healthy" energy/protein drinks, bars, and snacks! Check me out.

  • Ok people, he is not saying that fruit is bad at all. When he refers to fruit juice, he means processed fruit juices that you buy at the store. He even mentions that you can make your own juices if you want, but you have to drink it relatively quick to get all the nutrients out of it.

    Natural fruit = GOOD

    Processed fruit = BAD

  • @drexl02

    yes and partly yes.

    Natural fruit = GOOD

Processed fruit = trace amount of any fruit or vegetable+tons of chemicals added =BAD.

If you meant that I fully agree:)

  • I think you have got a really good point, I have been using a small glass for energy after weight training, though I have been advised to consume a bit of food with it to reduce my risk of getting diabetes. BECAREFULL WITH JUICE, IT IS UNNATURAL FRUIT CONSUMPTION!

  • The only juice I drink is pomegranet juice. If nothing else, it's a good source of antioxidants.

  • @noodle0912 You might want to look into a drink called Genesis. It has the benefits of one whole pomegranate in just one ounce. It's $34.60 for a 32 oz. bottle, but your only supposed to drink 1-4 ounces per day. I know the large bottles of Pom juice go for about $18.99 for the big bottles, but how long does that last you? 1 ounce of Genesis also contains all the health benefits of one bottle of wine among many other things. Just something to think about.

  • Huh, never heard of it. What grocery stores is it sold at? Sounds great!

  • It isn't sold at any grocery stores. If you go to symmetrydirect you can find out mor by clicking Information Center at the bottome of the page. I have only been drinking since December, but I can feel a difference and see a difference. If you exercise you exercise you will see a big difference within the first month of drinking it. I did anyways. Symmetry basically took all the health benefits that have been proven in studies over the years, and put all the major advances in one bottle.

  • I'm sure you probably have more questions about it. My name is stevehafley and if you were to add yawho at the end of that u would be able to contact me ;).

  • how about consuming fruit smoothies? isnt that still good as the fibre remains in the drink?

  • juice is ok, as long as you drink it early in the day and in moderation. Like 1 cup of cranberry juice or orange juice a day is fine.

  • Hi, please can you tell me which scientific research shows that the no.1 cause of diabetes is fructose?

  • scientific research also showed how big of douchbags they are, for example, crazy theories of how the earth formed, like big bang, and i think its bullshit, since i have religioon of course. but what i want to ask you is this... would you really live your life, revolving around men and women, guessing about....i dunno, anything? doesnt it sound rediculous, just hearing a man like you and me, guess about diseases and etc.? did they really have to go thru years of college just to guess?

  • 8thstreet: You're right, because just blindly eating what the commercial food industry sticks in your face is a much better idea.

  • @8thstreetdropsoulja But we're taught to never question the inerrant gospel of science. Science is constant and never changes, and we should always believe everything that is said in textbooks and TV that is said in the name of Science.

  • @drexl02

ummm, i got part fo that, but simplify it a bit.....:/

  • It's weird how this guy frequently says how harshly his body responds after certain things. Like he crashes after eating an apple, what?

  • I think he's probably just more aware of his energy levels, since it's kind of his area of expertise, so a "crash" to him, may not be as severe as a crash to you.

  • @DaveIrie

when did he say that? he advocated eating it whole.

  • @DaveIrie

i am sorry you are right

the thing is he might, we all are difft. if i eat 2 slices of cheese pizza, my heart beat goes up to the point it could be called minor palpitations. my cholesterol is ok but triglycerides high. i have hypertension and disc degenerative disease and i am very old, 33 years passed since i popped out.

  • @you777777777777: 33 is not that old ... O_o

  • @AnduinX

yeah, for most ppl, it ain't but considering wat i have, 33 seems like 2 years away from assisted senior citizen living, lol

  • By the way 1stSRB, the majority of fructose, (depending ones metabolic and hepatic efficiency) is converted into VLDL and triglycerides (fat). Specifically promoting visceral adiposity and secretes adipokines such as Resistin, rbp4, Interlukin-6, etc, causing insulin resistance, metabolic syndrome, and (if you have the genes for it), diabetes.

  • Sean, maybe you should dig into a bit of science to substantiate your comments for these individuals commenting on here like they are authorities on the matter, yet clearly have not spent any time learning/researching. Robert Lustig's video on fructose metabolism is a great start.

  • Breaking down FRUCTOSE for better understanding: FRUCTOSE leads to increased insulin resistance, belly fat, & metabolic syndrome. Look at the Nutrition FACTS on the back of products.

  • I was diagnosed with high blood pressure so I quit drinking juice and soda . I wonder about banana and milk together , is it any good or different than other juices ?

Milk and banana have about 10 grams of sugar each

I am not sure what I could drink any more but I know that moderation is the key

  • Part two of two

I try to eat everything in its natural state and for the first time in my life I am happy, energetic and only put on weight when I eat processed crap.

The thing is, that this all started with juicing; I just see juicing as a gateway to much healthier options; and I would rather eat a 2 pounds of fruit than a glass of juice.

The way I see it, juicing is a great way to ween addicts off of processed poison.

  • @gaburley How about vegetable juice instead? Less of an insulin spike that way.

  • Hi;

I think that juicing is great for people who usually only eat processed crap; it is a start.

After 40 years of craving refined sugar and battling depression, grapefruit saved me, and then I swithched from juice, to whole raw foods.

In the form of fruit I eat huge amounts of sugar, but it does not screw me up like refined sugar (and flour).
