Didnt know boomkin had that much power, but in patch 4.2 wrath and starfall is getting buffed with 23% witch is ALOT compare to you having 30k dps : O what to you think about that change and are you going to do stuff in firelands :D?

You stopped raiding or something? Miss your videos and it'd be interesting to compare how you handle different fights compared to me. Already ranked top 50 on 25H AC using your solar cleave in phase 2 which I probably wouldn't have thought of for a bit. ;P

I've only watched up to P1 of your video but our strategy is a lot different which leads to much higher DPS. We have 3 camps of people and Tank both on top of each other and move Felud out prior to Glaciate coming off cooldown. This lets our combat rogue/other classes cleave.

I do a full solar rotation in p1 and do around 36-40k dps. I pay careful attention to who has a fire/water spreadable buff and run to them to pick it up (I generally maintain around 70% uptime of either buff) [cont'd]

@raserucort But yeah since I do full solar and the buff does 20k (40k crits randomly) on any direct damage it is kind of ridiculous with a full solar rotation since you are generally spamming direct damage on the global.

I have been testing both full solar and a regular rotation for p2 and haven't really come to a conclusion on which is better yet due to the vast amounts of movement.

@raserucort I had heard of some guilds stacking them - would be interesting to see a vid of that. I do full Solar in P2 where movement is high -- with our positions in P1, full solar doesn't make sense. As to buffs, if someone gets cold, we'll have them run in to melee who are stacked on Ignacious. To be honest, P1/P2 DPS is mostly inconsequential other than making sure you control your pushes to get both under 25%. Not failing P1/P2 mechanics and P3 Heals/DPS win or lose the fight.

@raserucort i see it. Pros would be ease of spreading damage buffs. Cons would be ease of spreading gravity and static debuffs. I saw multiple cases where the whole camp got gravity debuff. It could be the benefit of higher overall raid uptime on the buffs outweighs the detraction of the correspondingly higher raid uptime of the debuffs . . . though Gravity debuff suuuuuuccks. I'd also hate to be in the far ranged group taking the charges. The P1 dps you talked about sounded sexy though :)

@Arythorn That is true. On our kills now I try to stand ever so slightly off 'center' of my group so I avoid getting the gravity debuff altogether. It is fairly hard to avoid getting the gravity debuff otherwise even if you have impeccable reaction (or a warlock gets it). You can also sit in melee since they seem to never get either debuff and often times get a buff. :P

All of that said, that does sound like some sick damage gaming the buff with lunar shower Sunfire spam. Our positioning wouldn't really allow for the same tactic but would be fairly humorous if Iks and I were both in the fight doing that. P1 wouldn't last very long :)
