that movie and the music was soooo fucking good "Un citoyen au dessus de tout soupcons"
Mr Patton and his fellow really capture the spirits of it,but there was an American remake of that movie called "American Psycho"...not bad but not the as good as the real one!
l'm just wondering ,does Hollywood come up with any original script in the last 40 years?
@ddboris "American Psycho" is not a remake of "Investigation of a Citizen Above Suspicion". It was a novel written by Bret Easton Ellis dealing with the yuppie culture of the 1980's, and a serial killer hiding amongst his peers. The film version of "American Psycho" was watered down heavily, and not as psychological as the novel. However, it was still a very well done film.
@hetriusraptor not really man....Kurt Cobain was just a junkie in the right place at the right time...not saying he wasnt "good" but he most certainly is not godlike....and you dont see influences from cobain in any good music today...All of Mikes projects have influenced pretty much any industrial band, and even some regular metal/rock bands (Korn mentioned Mr. Bungle as one of their main influences, even though korn sold out and I hate them)
I didn't fucking say that KoRn would be better than Fantomas!!! I find Fantomas and all Patton's other projects 10x better than KoRn. I just like KoRn for the fact that it helped me through school... Nothing else.. I am really grateful to them!
@gooseGWAR Mike Patton influenced pretty much any industrial band, eh? How about Throbbing Gristle or Skinny Puppy?
Hey, does your mall have a heater? Mine is an outdoor mall so it's cold as fuck right now. Do you have your Mom pick you up down the block so she doesn't embarrass you? Don't you hate it when some clerk makes you leave the shop because you're not gonna buy anything?
Isn't Emmanuel Kant a jerk for believing that benevolence and rationality are unattainable?
@seandangermartin there is both an indoor and outdoor mall in my area (we call it the dirt mall) and I drive myself there thanks, and I buy my weed smoking equipment there so Im never asked to leave...was once asked to leave a bar for puking in there urinal...I dont see how any of that was relevent but I hope I aswered some of your strange inquiries...also hav an average sized penis if that was your next question...Ill have to check out Throbbing Gristle, havent heard of them
Thats because the album is covers of old movie soundtracks. Read up on artists before embarassing yourself. They write all their shit, but this was an album dedicated strictly to old movie sountracks, of course its a cover..
hey, maybeblue7... I don't like this version that much, but I respect your opinion... I just hope you know the theme is from Ennio Morricone (italian composer) when you say "One of the best song by Fantomas!!"... otherwise, try to listen to the original :P
Well, as a Fantômas fan, I must say this is the most understandable song coming from them. As for the Ennio Morricone version, I haven't listened to it, but I'd prefer to stay on my Avant-garde ground, thank you.
Nice one, Maybeblue. Even though the start is kinda low on volume. Five squares!

Sometimes you hear someone saying this big question "Well if God created the world, then who the hell created the God?". Well, Patton did it.

All the songs on this album are covers of film music.
I like the fact that they really do put their own style into it, unlike many other covers today which often end up being directly hated.
