Of course the band would be the same without Kurt Cobain. It wasn't the same with survivor, ACDC, or Bands like that. Kurt Cobain was just a genius. His way of singing, his charisma, and so on and so on.. he was just a very special person.

And that is the reason why Nirvana was more than other grunge bands.

at the time when i graduated in 1988, i was getting into classic rock, bands like sabbath and grand funk railroad. also getting into classic punk like the kennedys, flag, and circle jerks. as a rebellion and mostly out of boredome with current rock on the radio.

it's not tad doyle. tad doyle was the singer songwriter for the band tad. tad toured with nirvana in 1989 in europe. you can read about thier misadventures in the books "come as you are" from 1993, or "heavier than heaven" from 2000.
