Construction is at night. Why not provide alternative, protected access for bicycles and pedestrians during the day? The DCR claims their contractors are well able to implement creative solutions to problems like this. Let's see them act on it.

Don't forget the terrible "bike lane" that crosses through busy traffic to go from central to west campus, past the bridge.
