Is it common for people to get outside help when creating manga (like one person writes, another draws, another does something else) because I have had a story stuck in my head for four years now but I can't write or draw for my life. Any advice?

You must be good if you're better than him when you're only twelve, so prove it bro - I've subscribed to your channel, and I want to see you upload a video of some of your artwork. Hell, maybe even some character design videos. I mean, if you've got a computer and access to the internet, it doesn't matter if you're poor, you can make the video, but the one thing that you may have a problem with is perhaps scanning your drawings.
How do ya scan a drawing? I'm just taking pic's with a NIKON camera until I get a good result with good light so you can see all the lines and if I had Write something on it or to the pic. XD

I have started my own manga comic since my Senior year in High School, I have been in art class and had a very creative mind since a very young age (before senior year of course). I have made the script, outline, I have had some character designs and backgrounds drawn but I wish I knew more about computers and more about software like Photoshop, Anime Studio, Manga Studio, etc.
@ronaproject Thank you, I really would like to go into making comics and animation, but I heard that its not a really goofd field to be in. It is a lot like a gamble, because if your works aren't popular, you can end up in the poor house

@joshmosh99 no it's your style man if thats your style then maybe you should look into comics like marvel you don't have to cause manga has all kind of styles, from catoony to realism so it doesn't really matter man

@joshmosh99 it doesnt have to be shoujo or shonen style, but it'll be really tough to find a company that accepts it because it sells less. hope that helps goodluck
@OmnomTheDevourer there's a difference between drawing a comic in anime style and making a manga, if it is not japanese than it is not manga and even you went to japan you would never make it unless you are just as good as the big manga artist like kishimoto, akira toriyama or oda because you are not japanese because it is very hard to find a job in japan if you are not japanese
@cartoonkingforeever although i agree on some parts all the word manga is just the japanese word for graphic novel. So if an american calls the graphic novel a manga all they are refering to is the style the japanese make thier graphic novels in.
@mathewmc909 i still prefer the word comic it distinguishes it from a real manga and you must realize that manga made by Americans never sell well like the Japanese ones and are just boring and short and there are a lot of anime fans who hate it when Americans try to do manga

@mathewmc909 my point is that American made manga is not good to me it's cliche and boring American comics are much better than american made mang, the problem is that Americans are trying to imitate the japanese art style and are unintentionally make the manga bad, comic book makers have their own style which makes it more unique and the storyline more epic, my point is i think Americans that want to do manga are playing it cheap so people will read their manga
@joshmosh99 while america has comic books the japanese have mangs, their graphic novells to our comic books. now adays htough, manga is more of a drawing style, usually with exagerated features like eyes and ears, and normally pointy chins and stuff.
Bring also to the stores manga like Hokuto no Ken and Hajime no hippo, baki the grappler, garouden, shoot fighter tekken, tough, kenji, bring at least manga with some spirit within it, within the drawings, with emotion and realism. This ppl always base themselves on shit like naruto, extremely easy and quick to draw, and flashy
They keep following Naruto and other well known and top selling manga to get some easy and sure fire money cause the kids and the lil girls love it..LAME
I hate Naruto...ppl nowadays think that manga is only something like fag characters like Naruto and Sasuke or even skinny bitches like ichigo of bleach..I think manga is not only soft fleshy characters, with female porportions and facial aspects with big round eyes full of details and spikey hair styles with flashy colors...

Im creating a horror manga that involvs zombies. i was wondering, should i go with an exstremely detailed look, making them look exstremely human then the accual characters them selfs? Seeing the zombies are the main point of the story, should ibase more of my time on them instead of the main characters.

@100chewycandies I guess one way to really start spreading your name out there is to start putting up webcomics. They don't have to be a full story or anything but make several small stories that showcase your talent in writing and drawing. >_> maybe that could help. I guess also try to keep an eye out for contests.

I happen to work for tokyopop. There are 2 ways i know of. You can be like me and send a email and hopefully get lucky like i did. Or you can go to california where the tokyopop building is.
You know about mega popular Shonen Jump right... Well lets say u wanted to get published by the company(or magazine) couldnt u just move to Japan then enter in the monthly contest Shonen Jump does and either earned 1st place or runner up. I just wanted to know because that how all the other shonen jump author got published so it shouldnt matter what race or where u come from as long as u get 1st right? anyway just thinking. please give me your answer Rona Guys.
@joshmosh99 Manga is just a drawing style... Basically a manga is just a comic book drawn in that style... People just prefer the Japanese format I guess...

@mathewmc909 my point is that American made manga is not good to me it's cliche and boring American comics are much better than american made mang, the problem is that Americans are trying to imitate the japanese art style and are unintentionally make the manga bad, comic book makers have their own style which makes it more unique and the storyline more epic, my point is i think Americans that want to do manga are playing it cheap so people will read their manga

@joshmosh99 while america has comic books the japanese have mangs, their graphic novells to our comic books. now adays htough, manga is more of a drawing style, usually with exagerated features like eyes and ears, and normally pointy chins and stuff.

Bring also to the stores manga like Hokuto no Ken and Hajime no hippo, baki the grappler, garouden, shoot fighter tekken, tough, kenji, bring at least manga with some spirit within it, within the drawings, with emotion and realism. This ppl always base themselves on shit like naruto, extremely easy and quick to draw, and flashy
They keep following Naruto and other well known and top selling manga to get some easy and sure fire money cause the kids and the lil girls love it..LAME

I hate Naruto...ppl nowadays think that manga is only something like fag characters like Naruto and Sasuke or even skinny bitches like ichigo of bleach..I think manga is not only soft fleshy characters, with female porportions and facial aspects with big round eyes full of details and spikey hair styles with flashy colors...

@joshmosh99 mangas should be in the japanese style you know them because mangas and comics are different arts and you cant draw an american style comic and call it a manga...

=) my goal is to travel to japan and become a manga artist for shonen jump weekly, i know its really hard doing manga in that magazine, tight schedules and little sleep, but i still want to do it!=P and my second goal is to meet Eiichiro Oda, creator of One Piece, TY for the video!

Im creating a horror manga that involvs zombies. i was wondering, should i go with an exstremely detailed look, making them look exstremely human then the accual characters them selfs? Seeing the zombies are the main point of the story, should ibase more of my time on them instead of the main characters.

@100chewycandies I guess one way to really start spreading your name out there is to start putting up webcomics. They don't have to be a full story or anything but make several small stories that showcase your talent in writing and drawing. >_> maybe that could help. I guess also try to keep an eye out for contests.

I happen to work for tokyopop. There are 2 ways i know of. You can be like me and send a email and hopefully get lucky like i did. Or you can go to california where the tokyopop building is.

Hey Rona guys, i have a question.
You know about mega popular Shonen Jump right... Well lets say u wanted to get published by the company(or magazine) couldnt u just move to Japan then enter in the monthly contest Shonen Jump does and either earned 1st place or runner up. I just wanted to know because that how all the other shonen jump author got published so it shouldnt matter what race or where u come from as long as u get 1st right? anyway just thinking. please give me your answer Rona Guys.
