I wish people would stop labelling this as a lesbian film. If you see the interview with piper perabo, she makes the point that it's not a gay film, it's a LOVE film. It puts a lesbian couple alongside straight love to show that it is just as valuable, and just as special and there is no difference between the two.

I love this movie. Too many gay films have the annoying habit of being overly sexual or inapropriate, making them difficult to show to children or people uncomfortable with nudity. Not this.
