yeah border collie are high maintenence, but don't be TOO scared of this. all you have to do, really, is 1, chose your dog properly, 2, puting a lot of time with him/her.

Hi are border collies good dogs to have? i am trying to persuade my mum and dad to let me have one and i was wondering if they where easy to litter train and do the chew and things like that if you could give me some informatinon it would really help thank you x

they are very good dogs to have, but be ready to spend a lot of time with it, letting it play and training it. It is not a type of dog that you can just keep at home and not take care of, They are very active.

border collies are extremely high maintenance and if they're brains aren't utilized properly, they'll start destroying everything. so once you get one, you need to train it off the bat. i don't think border collies like litter training, they need to have a large space outdoors to run around. just research border collies more and you'll get more info. good luck :)
