  • The GT2 class will be stacked in 2011.

  • Just Awesome

  • GO BMW M POWER!!!

  • look at that ferrari go he was passing everyone

  • @LEGend432345 you mean bmw..... :P

  • Hey, Corvette qualified 1-2 on that day, and now I see why they didn't win. The big red Ferrari roadblock slowed them down enough that the BMW could catch Corvette in traffic. God bless the ALMS. If a red, white or silver car blocks, then its just racing. If a yellow and black car blocks, then its a stop and go penalty...way to go ALMS...can't have an American car dominate the Euros in sports car racing.

  • @SCRex0472 are u mad ?

  • @SCRex0472 Ummm whatever. All of the GT2 teams in the ALMS are based in the the US. And why would the AMERICAN Le Mans Series be biased against American teams?

  • @dudegotskills wrong again...they still carry the heaviest weight and restrictor penalties...its plenty fast...so fast in fact, that the ALMS to this minute won't let it run without penalty.

  • @SCRex0472 Corvette screwed themselves over, not the sanctioning body. Their car was under developed and just not fast enough.

  • @SCRex0472 the alms is an american series. douche....

  • @kartingbeast93 why does every body who comments in these things have to get personal...If that is how its going to be, here is my response. I have been to and seem many ALMS races in person you f'n simple minded bastard. The point was, and I'll use crayons if it helps you understand...the European makes were being, and I think are still being given, advantage over the Vettes in an American race series...if you can say anything intelligent, shut your f'n hole.

  • @SCRex0472 It is in essence a GT1 car in the GT2 series. Don't ask a question that you don't already know the answer to...it is a recipe for looking a fool.

  • @SCRex0472 Key word is "and i THINK.." Shut up your just another fanboy that states zero facts.

  • @SCRex0472 BMW is dominating this season. Whats up now? haha :)

  • @m3rob7 Well, its very simple. BMW has been allowed to move the placement of their engine, move the transmission to a transverse orientation, totally change their suspension, and run larger front and rear aero than the competition. Look these facts up. I'm not making them up. They are winning because they are allowed to run a very, very, VERY, rules advantaged car while Corvette is still carrying the heavies weight penalty and smallest restrictor (most power restriction.) Haha back:D

  • @SCRex0472 Of course. BMW is cheating and ALMS lets them have unique advantages so they can win. LOLOL ::facepalm::

  • @m3rob7 Hey, you can LOL and emoticon all day long it doesn't change the facts...look up the ACO and IMSA regs and then verify what ive said...the BMWs run a transverse gearbox, a rules excepted suspension geometry, and are allowed larger front and rear splitters than the competition. If you want to intelligently participate in this conversation, educate yourself and drop the internte shorthand b.s. It just makes you seem like a10 year old.

  • @SCRex0472 Ok so i just read up on it a little bit. And from what you have said they are still within the rules. All cars have waivers everyone knows about that plus if they were being unfair corvette or Lizard would no way let them get away with it. "5.1.1 - The original engine shall maintain its original location, orientation and position. However it can be

lowered in compliance with the article 5.1.2. below moved backward provided the chassis and the dimensions of the cockpit are not modified"

  • @m3rob7 Hey cool, a fellow enthusiast who takes their racing seriously. Yes the engine can be slightly relocated, but I'm going to give you a few other posts for you to take in. Look at the Car and Driver article, "BMW M3 GT Race Car - Feature Test" This article references an "approved" suspension change allowed to make BMW competitive. More to follow. When I tell you that the BMW has been allowed to be competitive, I'm not making it up.

  • wow, this guy know's the job.. i like his driving a lot

  • @jjunfer i agree that was some awesome driving :) agressive yet respectful and right on his marks of where he should be... thats how to get er done lol :P

  • Could you put all the fastest laps or the pole positions of all races?

...would be awesome, I would like to see the Ferrari F430 GT2 , because it wasn't only the fastest car , but also the best good looking car in the american le mans

    THANKS !
