  • 1:50 thanks for that completely inacurate take on how the english defeated the germans... its not just america you know, originally we were fighting them, then you helped, yes you did help quite substantually, but i think the size of the hands should be more even (or even the oppisite) ! infact you didnt seem to mention anything that much at all about anywere else but america. I dont think you realise how many people you have enraged (or maybe you have by the amount of tyhe comments saying so!)

  • i love it

  • Great work!!!

  • This is not historically accurate.

Nazism was in part a response to communism, not the other way around as portrayed in this movie. Also, France was not defending themselves against Germany, they initiated the declaration of war. Also, Germany only began the Blitz after Britain had done the same to Germany prior to the Germans doing it to the British. Also, Germany attempted to achieve an alliance with Britain, which Britain declined, this video insinuates Germany began everything, which is wron

  • It's good, but you did leave out a lot of things there. It was too centered on the western world to call it "The 20th. Century".

  • Not bad and pretty nicely rendered (and sometimes funny:). Just a pity people tend to show the end of the communism via breaking the Berlin's wall instead of the Polish Solidarity movement that started in the 80s the chain of events that led to the victory over the commies in Europe

  • funny, but it isen't all correct.

Nazi-german attacked poland and then France and Brittain attacker Nazi-germany.

Soviet attacked Poland in the same time too. and Germans were traveling from through sweden to norway etc. and you forgot israel too.

  • @jultomtemor

    Exactly, it's not historically correct.

  • The american wieew haha xD

  • I fail to see the funny part

  • It's the bit in the middle. Right between the beginning and the end. :-)

  • @FrancisClemens I got that it just wasn't funny

  • it is cool

  • Also, this makes me think about the U.S.'s impact on the world, and how much better the world would be if england just minded their own business in Europe. =P

  • Y'know, Hitler started taking over Europe in the 'thirties, so you're skiping thirty years right there. You could of talked abot the Wright brothers, WWI, the depression, and other stuff.

  • 1. you completely missed the ww1

    2. you made it look like the US-Troops were the deciding Factor in ww2 in Europe (wich the weren´t (that Role goes to the Soviets))

    ....(many things missing)

    n. 9/11 and the "war on Terror" are dating in the 21.Century not the 20.

  • Well thank you for that. You forgot to mention that I included Finland in the Marshall plan, made the hiroshima bomb sound like an elephant and completely ignored the wars in Palestine :-) It's not an encyclopedia and I would certainly have done it different and more precise if I were to do it again now. But It was made for no money at all in just a month when I was 22 and it was the first film I ever made. And that is not meant to be as sarcastic as it may sound. Thank you for your comment.

  • u failed to mention the afghan soviet war as a main reasin of soviet collapse.

  • Internet RAAAAAAGE

  • Great video ;)

I think it should be seen as a critique to people and not countries. Anyone that would complain about how things are represented must think "why is that?", I'm pretty sure you'll agree with the representation if you are reasonable. Your choise is to accept if what caused this images are right or wrong, but whatever your choise is, it doesn't change the truth.

  • Thank you, I appreciate that.

  • great video,

although I hate it when the USA keep making out that they saved a weak UK from Germany and saved Europe.

The USSR were the powerhouse in ww2, UK were fighting Italy (et al) in Africa and d-day was only about 45% USA (although the USA were the power house in the pacific war).

although I loved the Cuba missile crisis. *fizzle*

  • Over all us different way to see the world i would to tell you that i love the history 3D rappresentations, i makin (from 4 years) a geo/political simulator about that. Many fuckin study before start to programming and probably this push me to write my opinion to your (technically inecepible) 3D cartoon.

    Bye.

  • You are pretty difficult to understand my friend. "inecepible" is not a word and I am not sure what you want to say, except I have a feeling it is not very nice. I am sorry if you have suffered under the Soviet state. But I don't think it is appropriate to take it out on me, or my film. I don't think I have, in any way, glorified sovjet in my film. Another thing: When you make a film, you are very often put in a dilemma between simplifications and accurateness. I have simplified.

  • I think just we are both true lucky to be born and/or to live in an occidental country. All here.

You are free to make your cartoon without problem and i free to watch your cartoon without problem! In many other countries this is impossible. Just that. I love occidental rulez, i love to be in the best place on the planet. With a bit of unlucky me or you can be in the wrong place, in the wrong country where you and me had no freedom to make/watch what we want. Bye friend

  • ps: Cheer up mate.

  • I think you don't know exactly how many damages Soviet Union made in the world in the last 60 years.

I am sure if you understand correctly the correct weight of these damages you make a second and more realistic history cartoon.

After just i repeat my previous post, the history, the world, the life is much more complex and the conclusions are fuc*in complex too.

I learn one thing sure in my life, i give all my thankyou to god for permit me to born in a country under USA influence.

  • What contry would that be?

  • It's easy to say "They are bad because they caused pain" and when it comes to you "All I did was for the greater good".

  • The history is a bit much most complex than this anti-american cartoon.

But sure, is most simple to think that in 5 minutes of a cartoon you understand the mechanisms of the world.

Less idiot things and a bit more about history books please..

  • Finally a bit of critique. That is very welcome my friend. There is, I agree, quite a few historical errors and simplistic portrayals here. My excuse was that I was young, naive and didn't have time for research. Another explaination is that it was made in march-april 2003. Right around the time when America invaded Iraq. And in this regard I seem to have been right to be critical of America, and today most people would agree. I don't suppose that you think that war was a very good idea.

  • ps: Anit-american is a very unprecise way of putting it. It's like you suggest that I have a personal problem with the physical chunk of land that is currently north america. I won't stand by that, it is silly and to use your own word: "simplistic". Note that alot of other contries are also rediculed in the video. America is more so, perhaps because they are more involved in recent history in more violent ways than other contries. Only very few, very strange things are actually anti-american.

  • how the fuck is this anti-american?

  • Very Interesting, It most certainly did make me laugh.

  • That was the coolest shit I've ever seen on youtube

  • very nice video congrats

  • haha!

  • cool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
