All in all, one of the best covers I have seen by an MK/DS tribute group -- esp,. of such a difficult piece. I only hope I can master this gem myself before I become too arthritic...

Just excellent! Definitely NOT an exact copy, but as a die-hard fan of MK's for 30 years now, I salute you all for a tremendously good cover of this classic. While it is far from note-for-note, ALL the feeling is there, esp. in the tone and sustain of the guitar. The singer looks surprising much like Mark at that age, and despite the Italian "twang," has a very similar tone of voice, as well.

this is a fantastic cover of an amazing yet incredibly difficult song to perform. Magnificent lead guitar and synth work. Vocals are an absolute treat to listen to. If i had only listened to this track I would have sworn that it was Mark Knopfler and Dire Straits themselves performing. Original guitar fills and well backed up by the rest of the band. This is not an easy song to play and, in my opinion, a magnificent cover. Great effort guys

D'Addario Strings like MK (scale 010.046). The tone was in 10. For this sound use Boss DS1 Distorsion pedal (the orange on this video),. with it you can pull down Tone....

Wonderful covers :D Don't care waht people say about copying MK, as long as you don't do it in public it doesn't matter :) If you play a MK song you have to live into it :) I have played for about 1.5 years but my techer says that I am developing very fast :P Soon I'll be there to! ;)
