Good, catchy tune, very much in the English 'glam rock' genre - the fact that it was sung by a Scandinavian guy notwithstanding.

In retrospect, it puzzles me somewhat that Harpo's "Movie Star" was only a relatively minor hit in the UK.

I guess that, by the spring/summer of 1976 - when the track was released in this country - glam rock music was already going out of fashion. It is a pity (in my opinion) that this record was not released two years earlier, in 1974 !

Amazing to learn that Harpo is Swedish.

In Australia ABBA was a Phenomena and sold more Albums here than anywhere else on The Globe.

I can remember when Harpo released this Smash Hit Australian Top 40 had it in the Top 10 for 3 months selling many singles.

This Swedish / English singing voice for some reason appeals to All Australians as it does sound exact to how we sing any song in our English Australian Accent.
