  • I have found this to be best with the toes pointed outward. When he says weight is not important, he is right. Keep it very slow and squeeze.

  • You are absolutely correct., this move does work the back too, but the biomechanics and AROM inviolved are primarily putting a stretch / contraction on the hamstrings, thus glutes (with the added gluteus "squeeze" for max results). Thank you for highlighting the back involvement!
