@billyfajardo28 billy, dude, thanks so much! I figured it out! you meant left button but viewing the camera from the front. It's on the right side when taking a pic or video. But I got it! Awesome man, I'm so use to my T2i and bought this camera so I wouldn't have to carry such large and heavy DSLR and having this control of the ISO is huge for me. Thanks again!

question, is the camera windsock in video mode? im a railfan and i usualy film scenary from the window and i mostly exit the camera out of the wagons cockpit, and with other cameras the wind usualy ruins the sound. so what im asking is that the sound that it records is it the ambiental sound(the wind) or the sound near the camera, for example the sound of the wheeles on the rail?

Hello. I have the same camera. I like it very much. I have only a question: when I buyed it fall down and now I think it's a little bit slow, especially in sequencial shot. I tryed with option for sport-shot but it's the same. I usually work in M mode.

I didn't have a comparison because it falled down when I buyed (I know, I'm an idiot) but I think my old canon A520 was faster. it's my suggestion or .. what?

@sepulturra why? You can find them anywhere, and it uses batteries the most efficiently of almost all point and shoots, with NI-MH batteries getting 600 shutter counts.

@bijuxjulia Of course it comes with manuals. I just bought SX20 is in July, I got complete instructions with it and everything is nicely described.

But of course, you can always go to Youtube or Google and search stuff up, there are tons of things for photographing :)

Do you think this camera is worth buying?

The worst thing about this camera is sound recording; when on a concert with a big amount of bass, the movies are terrible. Paying a lot of money when it originally came, one would expect more. Especially when lower budget cameras got better sound recording.

I 2 was disappointed with the audio at festivals untill i discoverd you can adjust it in the sound menu :)

Hi gordon. I recently bought a SX20 IS to replace my Canon A640. But from my actual comparison pics, I noticed that the A640 have better quality images From normal zoom to Macro shots. Shouldn't be the SX20 should have better quality? Can you explain that?

I've owned this model for about a month now, and at the default settings, I was a little disappointed at times because of the softness of the photos and autofocus difficulties. But by increasing the sharpness, contrast and color saturation settings above default, I'm pretty happy with it now.

One thing that is disappointing me about his camera is that a lot of the images seem to be a bit blurry, even when using Sports mode. Any suggestions to remedy this? Their manual, or lack of it, is not help at all.

I just bought this camera a couple of weeks ago after watching your review. I just re-watched it to see how to set the image stabilization. For some reason my camera menu does not include the IS Mode option as you show. There is Reverse Disp and directly below that is the Date Stamp. They have totally left out IS Mode, and I do have the exact same model you show. I can't find the IS Mode in any other menu either. Do I have a defective camera do you think?
