This was the best E3 ever. This conference is what made Reggie who he is and I am happy I saw this when it happened live! Too bad E3 isn't like it was....however I believe it will be eventually.

I hope the next Zelda game for the Wii u will have an epic trailer like this. I think Zelda games need to stop being so colourful and childish and Nintendo should finally make a hardcore Zelda game for the fans that grew up with Ocarina of Time.

The Zelda franchise is legendary, its not about sales figures, or graphical power, It has such a depth and history no other franchise can touch it. Microsoft or Sony could only wish to create a franchise that has developed such a devoted and passionate following.
Ultimately, Nintendo is the Godfather of gaming. Much like film, several blockbuster movies come out each summer that shatter box office records, but none have the polish, script or sheer depth of a film like the Godfather. Nintendo brought gaming into the forefront. They provided motion innovation back in 06, and Sony/Microsoft are still trying to catch up.
Zelda and Mario are, as far as I'm concerned, the two most iconic gaming franchises of all-time. It's child's play.
They may laugh at this dude but he is an example of how Nintendo has touched people throughout the years. Hiroshi Yamauchi in the quest to expand his company away from playing cards put together a team of genius artists and engineers creating the videogaming icon we know today. The legendary work of those artists & engineers is why that man had a near orgasm off stage. How can you not love Nintendo when they produce stuff like that?
Make it an epic year Nintendo! I wish SS had more realistic graphics. I don't mind cell-shading at all, but the realism of TP graphics just made the story seem so much darker, which really enhanced it. Maybe SS will have more of an upbeat storyline. With this new, powerful Nintendo consolue coming out though, I'd like another Zelda with realistic graphics. :)

I have a Wii, PS3, Xbox360 and gaming PC and out of those the Wii is the only one that forced me to shake my remote to break obstacles in a platformer and other such useless gimmicks. I just hope that Nitendo tend to their core gamers as well as the new wiggling crowd with their next console, give me some processing power, remove the gimmicks, give me a remote not a stick and I'll gladly buy it and enjoy my Marios, Zeldas and Donkey Kongs.

(bros 360 though) and of course some games have it. dont pick the bad ones then. for games like mario galaxy the waggle for a spin works extremely well. better feeling then it would pressing a button. but personally i havent had to waggle much at all and i have over 80 wii games. and the only way to make a console different is to have "gimmicks" every console has it.
But the other platforms don't force the gimmicks on you on exclusive games. Can I tell you how disappointed I was when Donkey Kong Country Returns asked me to wiggle my controller to stomp the ground? One of the game I thought I'd enjoy greatly was just ruined by this immature way to interact with a video game. Oh look mom I'm wiggling my controller and the monkey on the screen is hitting the ground. I have no problem with motion gaming, but it should be kept separated.

@finalstrike14 the great irony is that zelda fans tend to be older than CoD fans. zelda fans are generally born between 1980 and 1990, because these people were children when nintendo carved out its die-hard fanbase with the nes and snes. CoD, on the other hand, is often played by 10 year olds who think it's "cool" to play a game rated 18. my 11 year old nephew plays a lot of CoD, with a lot of other kids his age.

@finalstrike14 COD is fun, but it doesn't have the power to pull at emotional strings like zelda does. the famous songs from the legend of zelda, the characters, the locations, etc. have huge nostalgia for zelda fans. whenever i hear certain songs from the zelda franchise, i feel certain emotions which a game like COD could never evoke from me. i know some people think ocarina of time is overrated, but to this day, it's still my favourite game and nothing i have played comes close

Wind Waker had a great massive sea and was different kind of transportation with different art style and the story was different. Twilight Princess was very different from other Zelda games, added elements such as the Twilight World, becoming a wolf and new items that changed Zelda gameplay. Every game has different items as well to change the gameplay, and have different story elements to add to it. So it's not the same.

as for the zelda series- ocarina of time made a large number of innovations and was the first 3D zelda. windwaker's gorgeous cel-shaded graphics were arresting and were not seen in any previous zelda. skyward sword is the first game motion sensing done right.

I have a Wii, PS3, Xbox360 and gaming PC and out of those the Wii is the only one that forced me to shake my remote to break obstacles in a platformer and other such useless gimmicks. I just hope that Nitendo tend to their core gamers as well as the new wiggling crowd with their next console, give me some processing power, remove the gimmicks, give me a remote not a stick and I'll gladly buy it and enjoy my Marios, Zeldas and Donkey Kongs.

(bros 360 though) and of course some games have it. dont pick the bad ones then. for games like mario galaxy the waggle for a spin works extremely well. better feeling then it would pressing a button. but personally i havent had to waggle much at all and i have over 80 wii games. and the only way to make a console different is to have "gimmicks" every console has it.

But the other platforms don't force the gimmicks on you on exclusive games. Can I tell you how disappointed I was when Donkey Kong Country Returns asked me to wiggle my controller to stomp the ground? One of the game I thought I'd enjoy greatly was just ruined by this immature way to interact with a video game. Oh look mom I'm wiggling my controller and the monkey on the screen is hitting the ground. I have no problem with motion gaming, but it should be kept separated.

Pokemon is not on Wii and you forget monsterhunter on Wii too. A bunch of people being killed, seeing blood everywhere. If you haven't noticed, Pokemon is in the Wii, not in the adventure form we always see. Microsoft is great, in some things such as Halo. But what else have they done, the Kinect, which was an awful idea, Gears was getting boring when the second game came along. Nintendo can just make games better, Zelda, Mario, Pokemon, they may be child games to you but to us, they are legendary games. Please try again.

@finalstrike14 the great irony is that zelda fans tend to be older than CoD fans. zelda fans are generally born between 1980 and 1990, because these people were children when nintendo carved out its die-hard fanbase with the nes and snes. CoD, on the other hand, is often played by 10 year olds who think it's "cool" to play a game rated 18. my 11 year old nephew plays a lot of CoD, with a lot of other kids his age.

@finalstrike14 COD is fun, but it doesn't have the power to pull at emotional strings like zelda does. the famous songs from the legend of zelda, the characters, the locations, etc. have huge nostalgia for zelda fans. whenever i hear certain songs from the zelda franchise, i feel certain emotions which a game like COD could never evoke from me. i know some people think ocarina of time is overrated, but to this day, it's still my favourite game and nothing i have played comes close

Wind Waker had a great massive sea and was different kind of transportation with different art style and the story was different. Twilight Princess was very different from other Zelda games, added elements such as the Twilight World, becoming a wolf and new items that changed Zelda gameplay. Every game has different items as well to change the gameplay, and have different story elements to add to it. So it's not the same.

@QuinnJSU bollocks. do you know anything about video games at all? the mario series is not the same thing over and over- on the contrary, its known for being innovative- such as the introduction of the analogue stick with super mario 64.
as for the zelda series- ocarina of time made a large number of innovations and was the first 3D zelda. windwaker's gorgeous cel-shaded graphics were arresting and were not seen in any previous zelda. skyward sword is the first game motion sensing done right.
