How do you like that Gibson?, I recently picked up an Epiphone and it's like playing a brick. Not that the sound is bad, oh no, it's incredible! especially with effects. it's just so freaking heavy and monstrous compared to my Fender. I get a workout just walking around with it.
I love the use of a Fender strap on what appears to be a Gibson Les Paul (not so knowledgeable about the Les Paul that I can correctly identify the real deal unless viewing the headstock). I've been listening to and studying your playing for some time now, jun626. Because of you I've been forced back to the woodshed. The '62 Reissue Tele that you sometimes use is lovely to look at and to listen to. You play well!!
@bradb761 howie4556 doesnt know his shit, its an effect on the amp sometimes, sounds like a air plane taking off and landing if you hold down a note for like 10 seconds
"The name "flanging" comes from the original method of creation. Originally, a signal would be recorded to two tape machines simultaneously. The "flange" effect originated when an engineer would literally put a finger on the flange, or rim of one of the tape reels so that the machine was slowed down, slipping out of sync by tiny degrees. A listener would hear a "drainpipe" sweeping effect as shifting sum-and-difference harmonics were created. " Sort of a quote from Wikipedia

@TheEleventhIndian I know whatcha mean man, my les paul is like 7 pounds or something like that, and me personally i love to play while standing up.

@TheEleventhIndian That's not a Gibson, it's a japanese copy by Tokai. It sounds really good.
