  • what about a rado watch

  • andddd i can buy a fake one where? :D

  • the black one is fake!! i know because i have it,

  • The magnification also appears weak.

  • they're both real. they both say rolex

  • Replica's nowadays are very close to the genuine, not only visual but also the "hardware". As cheap replicas used to be rusty and crappy steel, rolex uses 904L steel. This stays scratch free for many many years. But now some replica's use 316L/F steel wich is also very hard. And indeed the better replicas have eta movements, these are even better as the rolex caliber 3135......

  • Blue=fake

  • Rolex makes sweeping hands and clicking hands, the sweeping hand actually clicks too just faster

  • right is fake becouse look at the glass, and then look at the black rolex's glass you se allot difrent

  • I'd rather wear a £2.99 Casio watch tbh...

  • The one with the blue crown is fake and the flat black one is real. Why? The blue one has a 'tick tock' motion. You can see tiny movements of starting and stopping. Real Rolexes don't have that. Their second hands are smooth or 'Sweeping"

Actually I think you can make the case that neither watch is real because I can detect a slight 'tick tock' motion in the black one tool so I'm not sure

  • wait, the right one didn't have a nice sweeping motion, is everyone blind?

  • Rolex doesnt make a "Sweeping hand". It moves 6 times per second.

  • @coloradoskiauthority 8 times actually

  • @coloradoskiauthority 8 times per second :-)

  • @coloradoskiauthority they do make a sweeping hand. moves 8 times per second. there were one or two versions that moved once per second in times past though

  • @yamahonkawazuki The Oysterquartz were quartz and therefore ticked...(or is it "took") :D

  • id take a

fake if it worked good :)

  • blue is fake

  • Rolex has a blue bezel like that one on their Rolex Submariner. It is all in white gold. Maybe the fake Rolex watches had something to do with it?

  • A ROLEX collector told me that fake Rolex watches rum more precisely than the originals.

  • @MucusFelidae this is true.

  • You can tell the right watch is fake pretty obvious because the movement is completely different than the left one. A genuine rolex is MUCH smoother as you can see on the left watch. BUT I think the date magnifier is a much better way to differ fake from real. Most fake rolex watches have poor date magnifier like this one.

  • @boelze I don't think a real rolex moves very smooth. It actually moves 6times a second rather than fakes which are basically a sweeping hand.

  • 2 fake

  • Nothing beats a quality swiss replica :)

  • The second hand motion of the real is, of course, smoother.

  • Notice that the date is not magnified on the right, clearly indicating it is fake. Also the symbol that looks like the mercedes sign is way too big.

  • not all fakes are that bad.

  • Hey I saw a video that was taken in Rolex factory in Switzerland and some mid-bracelet/band pieces were empty inside them, they were just curved. I was shocked and I still don't understand how that's possible in such a great company's manufacture section. WTF!? I'm still in shock. Check out the YouTube video titled: A look inside the Rolex factory. And the shameful scene I'm talking about is at 0:54... I prefer a high end replica after seeing the video rather than a real with curved mid-band.

  • Yea, I'd spend $5 on a fake one then waste $5000 on the "superior" one.

FUCK ROLEX! PUT THAT MONEY IN YOUR RETIREMENT FUNDS!!!

  • @bufanpxl8r The problem is your fake will be worth £20 dollars, then £10 dollars then nothing, if you own a real Rolex you have to increase the insurance every few years as Rolex increase their prices. So you can own a Rolex over the long term and get a better return than money in the bank!!, Plus if you own a fake you're just letting people you like that 'Rolex' feeling, but you just cannot afford it :-(

  • where did u get the fake and how much did it cost? i really want a rolex but cant afford one so i want a fake but cant find one to buy on ebay.pleas help

  • '

    how to compare 2 watches,,,

because of blue and black or what

  • i have a $25000 bolex.

  • What's the hell does it matter I'd be happy with either one there both brilliant looking watches name doesn't matter

  • the reason why the right is fake because the magnify glass doesnt magnify the hand nor the number. thats first thing that should catch your eye to spot a fake

  • @MaNGoMoDZ but it does.. are you saying a magnifying glass can't be made by anyone else but rolex('s suppliers)?

  • Damn China

  • @KatiushaVN4 I agree! and any other economy destroying, copyright violating, unoriginal ,corporate parasites.F#$k the fake industry and all those who condone it

  • seconds indicator runs smoother on the original.

  • wtf there's no difference?!

  • You can't do a propert comaprison due to the angle filmed and therefore the distortion it occurs between the two, so called self professed experts on here need to take that into account.

  • for the last time Rolex's aren't expensive!. i agree they're not cheap but most rolex watches are between £2,000 and £10,000. an expensive watch ranges between £100,000 and £1000,000. now thats expensive.

  • thats a nice fake

  • @555666777kaven " nice fake " is an oxymoron( just like "intelligent idiot" )whilst a replica might be an accurate copy, wearing "fake watches" ;for the purpose of deceiving others who see them, is indeed best understood by fake people.

  • Yea, right one probably has 21J or 23J. And the cyclops eye doesn't magnify at all.

  • lol ppl say its fake cuz of the 12 o clock marker and the ETA... they sound disgusted lol.. but honestly ppl who hav replicas get LOTS of compliments (so ive heard) and without literally spending $5,000. id rather hav the "messed up" 12 o clock marker and smaller magnifying glass and save $4,950 any day. jus TELL ppl that its real... not like they can tell the difference...

  • @sawlist I'd rather have a real Swatch than a fake Rolex. It doesn't matter if my friends know--what matters is that I know.

  • Cheap stuff.

  • 1). The Date is not magnified much.

2). The 12 o;clock mark is not the correct shape.

    3).The hands are different.

    That's one awesome replica though.

  • I figured the one on the right was fake because the magnifiying glass is so weak.

  • i dont see the point in this video..... -.-

  • SOMEONE GO CHECK MY CHANEL AND TELL ME IF I HAVE A REAL ROLEX PLEASE !!!

  • @lovemacbarbie07 Buy the seller not the watch! When, where, for how much did you buy it,what papers do you have??? Answers to these questions would be a start. Despite this, if you think you have a real roller take it to Rolex and for about $90 they will take it apart and give you a written certificate of authenticity. That's the only surefire method of a definitive answer! The peace of mind is worth it .Good luck and I hope it's real!

  • I'VE GOT THE FAKE ROLEX & AND THE BEST PART IS THAT PEOPLE GET IMPRESSED BIGGGGGGGGGG TIME.....

  • @sameercid How can anyone be impressed if such a reaction is based on a misunderstanding? Why is the BEST part of such deception your increased self worth? Your lie is BIGGG but your reality is small

  • People ignore the arsehole called DANGER D205

He really does no nothing but delights in telling other people that they are wrong - small man syndrome eh? no one respects you so he has to flex his manhood online the pathetic little fuck.

  • @skankydan I may disagree with you but I respest your right to say it.Other than a personal attack on the dangermeister how about a cogent attack on the content of his (or her) argument?

  • WOW starring at two watches for 18 seconds...not a waste of time...

  • Ugly thing. The 12:00 marker is the wrong shape. The dial quality is severely flawed. The bezel font is too bold and shabby looking. The hour hand is too big and probably copied from the larger ceramic models. The partial date in the cyclops is never 2.5x as it should be. God only knows what is inside the thing. I hope you destroyed it after making this...

  • I wouldn't mind wether it is fake or not;

I wouldn't pay over $50 for any watch, unless they are radio or satellite controlled automatics. Why spend more on a wind-up toy?

  • All of you are idiots. There is no way to tell if they are both fake, or both real...You would need to have it opened...The "bad magnifier" someone said, is an idiot...It's called a Cyclops, and you can't tell it's magnification via video above, as it's at an angle..

  • @DangerD205 The hour hand on that blue thing is way too big. The magnification is quite visible, even if it is showing a partial date and it is certainly not 2.5x as it should be! The numbers on the bezel insert are fat and wonky looking. The 12:00 hour marker is the wrong shape. There are some fakes that are a difficult tell from this distance and some even have genuine exterior parts, these are the one's that need to be opened. This particular fake is visibly shit.

  • @DangerD205 Not to sure about the sweeping statement classifying all on the post as idiots ...but your comment on the truest test of authenticity is spot on.Take it to Rolex and get them to take it apart and certify it-looking at a video or indeed the actual watch in your hand is rarely conclusive.

  • Counterfeiters have got the look and sweep movement down pretty well, but drop the fake into a bowl of water for a few minutes and it'll die or collect moisture inside the crystal. They also tend to rattle due to being poorly put together. They'll still fool 99% of the public at a glance, though.

  • fake Rolex tend to have really bad magnifying effects...so it is usually a give way

  • Interesting video; the non-magnifying cyclops lens, the absence of the Swiss moniker under the 6 o'clock marker, the shoddy bezel numbers, and the fact that the second hand doesn't fully extend to the second markers make it a dead giveaway. I bet if we could see the crown/horns they would look strange as well. All things you should 'watch' out for when buying a used Rolex, heyoooo!

  • Thay Look The same but the sliver dont feel the same thats the difference

  • no dur there diffrent color

  • the one on the right is fake. message back if i am correct

  • EXPLAIN WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE I CANNOT TELL!!!

  • lol you can tell which one's the real deal just by looking at the OVERALL QUALITY.

  • It's easy to tell which one's fake--the second hand jumped around a bit, and it's clear that MUCH cheaper metal and glass was used.

I'm hoping to get a Rolex someday ... right now I'm stuck with a Casio.

  • if you cant afford the real thing, i dont see the harm in buying a fake one for the meantime.

  • @TheVman551 I agree.

  • THE ONE ON RIGHT THE DATE IS HARD TO C ON REAL IT HITS U ON THE FACE

  • @Rajazraj1992 pawn stars

  • Yes,right one is fake cause it gives the Wrong time ! ;-)

  • fakes on the right theres no rolex markings on the bottom

  • It's interesting to note that ETA makes the movements for lots of good Swiss watches, including the lower end Rolex models. Although I wear a genuine Rolex that has been in my family since 1971, I suspect that some (but not most) of the fakes are, practically speaking, solid watches that are objectively pretty good watches, just not legit Rolexes.

Ultimately, I wonder how they can keep ratcheting up prices, which have gone up at several times the rate of inflation.

  • @texlad04 I had bought about 3 diferent Fake rolex watches at about 70 usd each in asia. They look great! But each and everyone of them failed to keep the time corectly, off by 1-2 hours a day! I thrown them away.

  • @texlad04 I know your comment is old but I don't want people to get the wrong information. All Rolexes are in-house movements. None are made by ETA.

  • @texlad04 Maybe they are solid but if you look closely you can tell its fake quite easily atleast this one I can. Maybe theres better ones out there

  • @texlad04 The way they can do it is by not giving a fuck about offering something so basic and mundane and honest as value for money, and by catering to the tasteless nouveau-riche idiots who don't know any better (not including you in there, especially since you have a 70s piece). Rolex are the PERFECT case study of style over substance making money hand over fist by virtue of bulldozing every watch maker of worth out of the way by drowning the world in advertising. Simple. :)

  • you can easily tell the fake from real because of the movement of the second hand, but also, the hands are not as sharp on the end and the fakes are generally lighter

  • @jboycub7 Easy way was looking at the cyclops for the date magnification.

  • Can anyone tell me where i can buy fake rolex's :)

  • @FLIPP3DnTRIPP3D Shoot if u want a fake rolex or tag or bretling let me know man i can hook u up. I got lots. Bought them all from IRAQ. Very good quality fakes. Made pretty close to the real thing, but just not the real thing.

  • @FLIPP3DnTRIPP3D Yeah ...the same place you can find people who lie and have such a pathetic sense of self worth that they need to falsely define themselves with a status symbol that they can't afford.try your local prison or reply to one of the Nigerian scammers next time they email you about winning the lottery.

  • Lots of fakes now have 28.800 bph movements , this is not a good test for telling which ones are real.

  • Errr the movement of the fake is disgusting!!

  • The easiest way in this video is to note the weaker magnification of the date on the right. easy fast irrefutable.

  • @kpetrosino no, the easiest way it's to notice that the fake one is probably 21.6 k bph, while the real one is 28.8k

Although this just means it's a bad fake. many fakes have correct magnification and correct bph and sometimes you can't really tell which is which even by looking at the movement

  • The sweeping motion is very fluid on the left where on the right it stutters a couple of times.

  • @fivepoint0008 Higher quality Reps are sold with Gen ETA's and won't do that. The also have the exact 28.8 beat meaning you cannot tell the difference simply by looking at the second hand sweep. Anyone that can tell you that they can on one of those versions is full of hooey. Chances are that if you see an issue with stuttering, it's a poorly constructed ETA clone, and certainly one that hasn't been serviced. Even a serviced ETA clone will be indistinguishable from the gen sweep.

  • this on the left its real :)

  • @8KatieBell8

how much will they sell the one on the right?
