This is the kind of style and attention to detail you would see if PIXAR decided to do a pulp action adventure.

The texture and poly count are lower of course but they have render farms, whole computers working on each frame.

The only bad thing about this sequence is that I don't see any possible way for Nathan to survive that wouldn't be completely unrealistic. Don't get me wrong, it would suck if Uncharted games were to realistic, but I'd really hate if ND went way too over the top like most action movies do nowadays. But I'm sure they'll come up with something smart.

@Mr05driver911 well that's the basic concept of most action sequences in videogames and movies. The character is either trying to rescue someone/something, or save his own life. The last one is often the case in the Uncharted series. Can't really blame ND for using that script, I mean otherwise the action sequences wouldn't be as amazing as this one.

@madotripleh Well, remember the un2 trailer where Nate was hanging from the side of a train, form the 'Locomotion'- chapter and the crazy gunship pal shot the train cars one by one to sky high? Just before they entered the tunnel, this crazy gunship pal shot another car, it rolled on the tracks and was just about to hit Nate--- and the trailer ends to Uncharted 2 Among thieves logo. And when we finally played the chapter, it turns out the rolling car hit the tunnel walls just in time.
