I dislike when people use it incorrectly. Something isn't/can't be gay. To use it as a synonym for something insulting is stupid, too. However, that's mainly because I hate when people alter the context in which a word can typically used in. It's literally just a grammatical nuisance that gets to me.
Some people need to learn how to embrace that word! It's like the word 'bitch' "Hey Bitch, let's go shopping" If they're just fooling around when saying that word, then it's cool whatever. However, if they are using it offensively towards me.....let's just say a few teeth will be missing from somebody...and they won't be mine.
