Yeah.. the interview isn't until April 1! But thats if I pass the application stage! (I think i horribly messed up! lol.. i sent it not realizing that I didn't include any refes! So i went back and updated it a few days later, but still! x.X
@MrThrive2 actually i haven't left yet! my arrival date is around the third week in march, so i've still got some time. i've mostly been gathering things to pack, and working overtime at work to save up some money :). yeah, you're good as far as interview locations go lol. although, i dont think they are hiring for this coming march anymore. the next batch of recruits will be hired for the september departure, but that should give you plenty of time to prepare~
I put down the Kanto area because that is where my wife is from, but I'm cool with going anywhere. I'm really curious about when my placement will come since I already have a visa. Hopefully it will come soon. Good luck with your placement. Keep us updated!
@djcurt25 awesome, congratulations!! nope, haven't gotten my placement yet. i don't think i'll hear anything until around the end of january. i'm still trying to decide on what region i want to put down as a preference lol
@TheMexicanGaysha haha i went to macy's to buy a nice business-y shirt and jacket, which was more than i had ever spent on a shirt EVER. it's a really great confidence booster though. i felt classy all day!
those tabs were the first clue i got that i was hired. i was waiting around for my interview results and randomly checked the site. when i saw the new tabs i freaked out because i thought i had accidentally skipped over them! lol the next day i ended up getting the job offer :)
dressing super super classy is a GREAT tip!! one guy at my interview had a suit on that you could just tell was at the bottom of his closet under tons of stuff and he pulled it out that morning.
being early is great!! you can sit closer to the front of the room which might make you seem more eager and definitely more professional.
saying you are flexible is VERY imporant so i totally agree!
LMAO!! @ "you read the SHIT out of that paragraph"!!!!
