Man I wish I had a creek like this... I was at my local pond and some park rangers came by, gave me a $50 citation and said I wasnt allowed to fish there. There were no signs that said we couldnt and people have been fishing there for ever....

ok bud, there is a few things wrong with this experience/ video. 1st is that them "sunfish" arent sunfish. they are warmouth sunfish... use detail man.... there is a huge diffrence between the 2. 2nd of all, those are not decent size, ive seen warmouth get 12-13 inches long... so a 8 incher would be decent..... 3rd is using a jig in a creek is a big no, no. there isnt shit thats good sized that will hit a jig in a creek, the big fish want something natural, that is part of their diet already...

@thomascook41 thanks for the advice, but much has changed since i made this video. this was 2 years ago,i didn't know nearly as much about fishing as i do now. i was just starting off on youtube and wanted to get myself out there. this creek is connected to lake michigan so any fish can swim up it. i still use maribou jigs to this day there, and have successfully hooked into plenty of bass, panfish, and i even surprisingly lost a good sized lake trout. also a warmouth is considered a sunfish

@Joey22496 i wasn't fishing salt creek the lake michigan trib, salt creek by the des plaines river. sorry im no help about that but i was up in wisconsin last week and the run was on there. we got a 15 pound king salmon that was nice and silver using spawn sacs under a bobber. if your talking about the salt creek in indiana that goes into lake michigan, i did hear from a guy that the kings are in there thick but not really eating

@Jakeman1260 this was one of my first videos i made,so not the best quality videon but thanks! and na this isnt addison creek....ive been fishing salt creek the past 3 weeks trying to get a salmon or steelhead...have you had luck there? and what bait works best for you there? im going tomorrow and i want to get one before the run ends

hey heres a great tip dont buy a fly rod but put a fly on yor regular rog snd let the line out the distance u want and cast it out and u will get a fish get a dry fly those work best

@clarko95 Surprisingly,all of the fish in there are pretty healthy haha today. Caught a 10 lb carp there,and brendan ward caught a 20 snapping turtle

@robostomo1 1. Yes haha. This is where i almost fell in. 2. The intro song is "Jealous Again" by the Black Crowes 3. And yes lol i know that they werent that big,i just had some time on my hands and thought i would try my luck down there. Yeah those two sunfish werent goliath,but they were a pretty decent size....and for the creek hahah thats about the biggest sunfish i have caught out of there

@andrewh4 Yeah man it is pretty fun. I like fishing at the creek because it is close to home,if only takes me 5 minutes to ride there on my bike,and it has many species of fish.....theres sunfish and creek chub (those two mostly hide under rocks along the banks of the creek.) i have also caught a nice 10 inch channel cat,nothing big,but there are BIG carp in there. My next creek video is gonna be carp fishing!
