  • Just another piece of Americana gone. My fav memory was my brother forcing me to go on the roller coaster, that thing scared the crap out of me. It really sucks its gone, all the little amusement parks are gone but thank God we have those condos in its place. You just can't replace Paragon! I'd take it any day over any of these new mega parks.

  • We lived on Park Ave as kids and had access to the Park. Roller Coaster ws "off Limits" to us, but we use to sneak on past the ticket seller. One day the train got stuck on the bend overlooking Geo Wash blvd. We were not afraid of the coaster, we were afraid our Mother would spot us. That meant the rest of the summer on the prch. lol. Fun times.

  • Loved the Bermuda Traiangle—part haunted boat ride, part roller coaster that ended with a splash!

  • Can't tell you how many times i was there in my youth!

  • Thanks for posting this.

  • I love it at 00:25 . You can see the Giant Coaster lit up at night. I could see this coaster all the way across the water in Howe's Neck on a clear evening. I used to take my binoculars down to the water, sit on the wall and see if I could see the train of people climbing the launch hill. Sounds crazy but you could actually make it out. I guess only coaster enthusiasts could understand what joy a kid at 12 years old would get out of doing that? I loved every minute of it.
