He kidnapped him, tortured him, and then sawed off his head while the man screamed even after his larynx was severed. The man could not see his attacker, had no way to know it was coming, and then his life was over. It was a horrific death, displayed to the world by this murderer, and no false equivalence will ever justify the killing. Why he did it will never justify it.
