here in germany, it's against the law, to have animals in these balls. the air is bad, the hamster get in panic, because they can't control the ball, they hit everything. please, don't ust these these balls!

@kruemellou sorry, I tought it was mean but the ball has holes in it so the hamster breaths.. and the hamster just get in panic the first few times.. and then they love it.. you can tell if they don't like when they stay they won't run or move, or they'll pee in the ball cus they are scared... my hamster used to pee on the ball the first time but now she loves taking rides on her ball, it's just a few minutes, not hours.. and they won't hit anything if you put them in a place with space

The reason why that hamster keep running into walls is because its vision is not very good and thus it keeps running into wall, I think. And also I have no idea which is better, let it stays in its cage or put them in a hamster ball occassionally... I wish hamster can talk and tell me whichever they prefer I will let them.

She quickly got better at controlling it and no longer ran into things. She frequently "begged" to use the ball.

@helidos They can learn what gets your attention and what causes you to put them in the ball, like coming to the door of the cage and chewing on the bars to be let out, and reaching for the opening of the ball/climbing in it when you put it near them. :D

My roommate who owns this hamster also taught her to stand up on two feet and reach up into the air for treats like carrots and broccoli. So cute!

It's only cruel if you force your hamster to use it. I had a Syrian a while ago that was terrfied of his ball. So I chucked it. However my Roborovski hamsters love their ball. If i put it in their cage they run right into it and scratch at the sides trying to get it to move around.

Really cute tho and I'm glad you have a proper sized ball. Sometimes people get the smaller ones cause their cheaper. :/
