  • WOW! thanks for posting this, may i ask where did you find this at?

  • @its2realj - thank you very much!

  • life' a fucking bitch.

  • 0:30, wonder who made her dogs shirt

  • There are many sweat-shops in England, but they cannot be closed because the owners and workers are Indians.

The human rights of the Indians woud be violated, if the police were to act against them.

Any action against the sweat-shop owners would be seen as racist, because the owners are non-white.

  • man everybody is talking about asia and africa but there are countries in European Union with wages at purchase power close to asian countries Bulgaria and Romania ,what the fuck is EU and US doing for these countries ? nothing they demand taxes and soldiers for Irak and Afganistan ,people are looking too far when in their own backyard there are a lot of problemes .

  • i watched this for my fashion class and it pissed me off. This is inhumane. I hate seeing animals and people suffer. Its so surreal to me.

  • So what kind of people work in sweatshops in San Francisco? and how much do they get paid, normal minimum wage in America?

  • rosaryfilms, again, i must thank you for the uploads!! when i do searches, your videos often are among the list of youtubers who've provided a source of informatives. i double digs what you do!! ~ thanx

  • @loximoxy - thank you very much for your kind remarks and comments! regards...

  • I support helping these people, but I want to make sure no commies are involved. Commies feed off these workers innocence, helping them now to gain their trust, yet once the "revolution" has been won, its back to the factory for the worker!

  • Wow, this is so sad!

  • It's not because that they have no choice that sweathoshops are legitmate, it's a severe abuse of Human Rights

  • great job wth this video i hope on day all of them wil be closed or peopl will have normall paid

  • thank you for your comments!

  • I'm going to go buy a pair of Nike shoes tomorrow.

  • @MapleMeadows only scum wear nikes garbage. wear some real clothes

  • Chie says "When women are fired they have no way to support themselves but going i to prostitution." Does this not beg the question that if there were no sweatshops there would no jobs except prostitution? Sweatshops are not a good thing by our societal standards but necessary for theirs.

  • That only goes to show how flawed the govornment system is in places like Asia. They are willing to sell out their own people in order to flourish in cheap, yet abundant exports when they could at the very least be enforcing workers rights. There is much room for inovation but that's too much to ask of one track minded coorporations

  • So they get shit.. just not the worst shit... but its still shit! lol

  • phon37: "Does this not beg the question that if there were no sweatshops there would be no jobs except prostitution?"

Exactly! The question is so obvious it might as well have a big flashing neon sign over it saying "Ask me!"

  • Bring back the local economy that used to exist before the sweatshops moved in and destroyed it.

  • @phon37 Or you can force the sweatshops to have like.. basic standards.

  • This is what milton friedman doesn't want you to know, he is a fucking hypocrite who screams about less government tyranny while praising the corporation. Workers must collectivize and fight against oppression.

  • I am part of that. I don't walk aroud naked because it's illegal. If I could I would, not for nudism, less for profanity; just because I don't want to cooperate with today's economic imperialism.

  • Wow, thank God for "Youtube" I had no idea...I guess it's something nobody talks about and maybe because they don't know this either? I just happened to fall upon this info...too bad it isn't more publicized.

  • lets look at this way, who owns the media and who owns other businesses. its all a conspiracy. getting people to buy more, and then work long hours. so they don't have time to think or protest. about whats going on. its about keeping people down and a slave to the puppet masters. for most people its too late, and the rest of us. who knows whats going. wiil have to keep fighting these masters of greedy or fat cats.

  • this happens because the rich has sold the ldea, all people can be rich and have nice stuff. look at whats happening now. its all over for the poor and middle class. people need to wake up to the facts, its all a dream and they control your life. they are saying we can now cut wage and cut jobs. all over the world .

  • cmon man "rich" is a relative term. everyone in a first world nation is "rich".

and just shedding light on this fact, as tragic as it might be, isnt going to change anything. Consumers want cheap products, and will not easily just forego that priviledge.

the ONLY thing that will change this is when these third world countries stop being third world countries.

but of course, thats not going to happen because the workers arnt getting paid enough to support their economies. isnt life great!!

  • its the people who control the world, who have sucked people in. by saying u can have more and more, people forget they will be poor very soon. when the world goes down. look at the history of the world. and u can know the future. there is lots of money and food for all people in the world.

  • the entire concept of sweatshops was created because of consumerism, which yes, is unsustainable. but no, while there may a more even distribution of wealth thats possible, it would drastically lower the standard of living for us westerners. thats WHY we have sweatshops, which in turn is WHY we live in such rich, materialistic lives as compared to the rest of the world. its capitalism. not a conspiracy. i like cheap goods, you like cheap goods, so sooner or later we have sweatshops

  • its a conspiracy what these people are doing to us. people will learn they have been living in a dream world. when will people wake up and learn, that the media and the bankers control the world. they will be living the good life. while all those people, who thought that they could too. will be trying to find food and housing. the media and others will say oh l feel sorry to those poor people, and the ones out of a work. they don't care at all.

  • no. its not a conspiracy. the only dream world is the ignorance of people in the west of where they cheap products come from. dont give me that about the media and the bankers. this is about sweatshops, which are not "kept secret" at great lengths.

you and i are responsable for sweatshops, because you and i demand cheap goods. thats it. end of story. all the corporations are doing is providing us with them.

dont blame the invisible hand for injustices that you are in part responsible for.

  • doesn't the invisible hand (govt, banks, corps) have a moral obligation to not indulge in SLAVERY simply because its cheap, isn't that what the confederacy argued b4 the civil war and you say "we" demand cheap products as if this invisible hand isn't making more of a profit than us. if it costs 5 dollars to make a pair of gym shoes then why does a pair of air jordans cost like 130 bucks. please respond!

  • your right mate all this stuff its fuck up ther no justice at al;l i ahgre if this places give them jobs its ok bth have shuld pay them some normall wages too and thers not only prostitution l;eft this [peopl still goth farms to work too

  • @Balian49 "you and i are responsable for sweatshops, because you and i demand cheap goods"

How the fuck is $150 for Nike shoes a demand of cheap goods?

  • FILTHY CAPITALISTS

  • I wonder if these kids could make cars???

  • This is sickening...knowing im indian makes me feel worser and the fact im to poor to give lots of amountsd to charities makes it worser...

  • Seen and feel sad...

Major confusion is when developed countries

playing the role as good guy to ask for Code of Conduct for Human Right & Safety on one hand, on the other hand offering a penny and even asking supplier to cut price.

  • Thankyou all the way from England! Im teaching the play 'An Inspector Calls' which explores the effects of industrialisation on working class women and social responsibility. I used this to put the themes into a modern context and make my students aware of sweatshops

  • nikipana, you are welcome!

  • Wow, interesting subject matter. I had a feeling there were some in SF but didn't think it actually existed.

  • flipaccino, thank you for watching!

  • @rosaryfilms great job wth thise wuide peopl can see whts going on ther and it culsd be an eyer opener i think all swet shopsshuld beclosed down or th shuld pay proper wages to ther stuff and treatthem very good......

  • @martini9799 - thank you very much for your comments! regards...

  • Sorry, the other comment was a mistake. It is terrible how these people are being abused!
