@coolbeansdude1000 no, we just finished 2.0 and unfortunately we are all out of pins on the arduino, so no more room for sounds! i was hoping to put in a low battery sound (which would be like when you are low on energy), but we couldn't. and we would have to put new LED's in the arm cannon which would be really hard.

Hahaha! I love the arm cannon and the effects you guys did with it. You even added the beam change sound effect. :) Way cool. I'm sure you were limited to what you could put in for LEDs, but I would have loved to see the other two beams thrown in there as well. Awesome job.

EPICSAUCE i havnt seen anything like that u selling that arm cannon btw? cus its AWESOME and i got a project that needs an arm cannon but my village is literely falling apart (a house collapsed just jesterday) even the dirt has became sand and the sand has became dust and the dust just got turned into nothing cus its gone now o.o wel i could get the recourses but thats a drive that takes more that 6 hours

@fh1564838 we are not done, this is simply version 1, we are working on 2.0, which will have the shoulder balls, armor, and chest plate/backpack.

and missiles would not necessarily fit, we do not have the tech to fire real missiles :P

The helmet was pretty good still!

Lost it on the rest of the costume though, would have liked to have seen it done more as body armour like the arm cannon/helmet.

I think this project is great. The Varia suit is her most iconic suit and is the right one to construct. Kudos to you for being a Metroid fan. Great games. my personal favorite is the first Prime.

P.S. Don't worry about the shoulder pieces, it looks good enough anyway.

i watched the arm cannon vid before... i have to say all the little bits like helmet, arm cannon + shoes = win they look pretty realistic for something out of small workshop, the body is lame though. no thought guess making an actual body would take ages though, and even more time to make one to fit

dude....no lie, that arm cannon is boss. and good job on the shoes. No offense but you kinda failed on the shirt, pants, gloves and helmet, but no sweat, i havnt seen anyone successfully make the bulky shoulders yet. must be pretty tough. Try some large aldult football shoulder pads and slimmer gloves.

well, its not really for sale, but i can tell you how to make it, we will be posting directions on the site around christmas. so then you can make your own, wich is a lot more fun, because the finished product is not actually that nice to wear on halloween.

and its fit for a 12 year old :P

plus that way you can customize yours and make it how you like it, like with the gravity suit.

@basketofgoods the code we can post, the sound files, not sure, i had to make them by recording and mixing and mashing different effects, the helmet will not be at lows, im not sure if any of it will be.

its a motrcycle helm, u can get one at a motrcycle store(theres a lot of them, , but i am guessing there is one at least ten minutes away from werever you live) you may whant a electronics store neer you, an arts and crafts store, and a hardware store(lowes)TIME: around 4 months

@ricraneo It's called Project Varia, he's just making the Varia Suit which was invented by aliens called the Chozo and even worn by them. In Metroid Zero Mission you see male Chozo's wearing the Varia Suit, it was ment to be for guys originally. Only hardcore Metroid fans would know that though, but regardless this is an awesome costume.
