thanks so much, I am trying to figure out Marian McPartland A train by ear, maybe not the best jazz tune to start with. it took me ages to put together a single chord with C# and G and C in it, that sound is not even in my realm of experience ;-) So I was looking for somewhere easier to start, this will do the trick! thanks for uploading!
There is so much great stuff in this video - I am going to have to study this for quite a while! Probably the best version I've heard and all the annotations clearly illustrate and explain your thought process. Fantastic post Doug!
REALLY a fantastic way of playing. Mind and soul together give the best. Bravo, fai musica bella da ascoltare (che è la cosa principale) e nascondi la complessità della tua musica dietro una sofisticatezza molto morbida.
That's really terrific Doug. Thanks for the extensive breakdown!!! It's really interesting to hear it at this slower tempo... Quite melancholy the first time round. Just great.
what software do you use? please answer me!

Wonderful and very original. Your greatest admirer (even though you prefer your lady-singer ;-) Wolf

Such great block chords you use, especially from 0:01-2:14. However, beautiful work , was also a pleasure to listen *****
