  • I'm not religious myself, but this music is beautiful nonetheless!

  • Nice song,Long Live Christianity.

I am Albanian Catholic but also i love Orthodox Christianity because is also Apostolic and a truth Christian faith is the oldest Christian Religion and is the only Christian Religion that has not done reforms.

Orthodox Christianity today is like the time when the Lord Jesus Christ has established the Orthodox Church, then in the first century is established Catholicism and in 15 Evangelical Christianity, but all three are the true Christian religion.God Bless.

  • hi bartovskaya and all Turkish speaking friends:)

  • IS GREEK

  • @robosimphonie MyASSedonia is your name the real is in greece get a life Vardaskian

  • Not only did they copy the music, they copied the architecture of the Greeks in the East as well as the Visigoth Christians in Spain. The science and medicine of the Arabs were lead by Christians and Jews.

  • well most of what the arabs knew was from the roman Empire that boreded them.

  • But ancient Greece wasn't a cultural island either. There was a heavy interaction between Greek and Phoenician culture, and Egypt made its mark too, for example on architecture and arithmetic. Culture is a highly dynamic thing, and without diminishing the achievements of the ancients, I think that more of the heritage originated in the East than we are told about. One of the greatest achievements of the ancient Greeks was a thorough categorization and preservation of existing knowledge.

  • @voxhunden sacred geometry. nature. mathematics through symbolism. it goes on and on

  • @voxhunden What you write is not exactly true. The ancient Greeks achieved many things on their own and when it comes to culture it was different from the eastern one because their way of thinking didn't have as a center the worshiping of a god. They wanted the knowledge for themselves, not for religious purposes like middle easterners. As for the Phoenician culture the only thing they took from them for sure was their quite primitive symfonic alphabet.

  • @AthrihosPithekos Apparently Pythagoras spent at least 35 years of his life in the "East" (Egypt, modern-day Israel and Lebanon, and Babylon). The Greek philosophers were forced to deal with the abstract because any reference to concrete reality might have been seen as an attack on the Greek gods (see Socrates). Greek philosophy developed _in spite of_ ancient Greek society.

  • @AthrihosPithekos That isn't to diminish ancient Greek achievements, but as a people that considered themselves superior to anyone else, they certainly weren't quick to say that if they were able to look further than others, it was because they had been standing on the shoulders of giants. Which is the natural process in any development, and nothing to be ashamed of:)

  • I'm hearing this song and performance and can't help notice it is in part very similar to Muslim prayers in the morning from the mosques. I wonder if the both cultures influenced each other.

  • Comment removed

  • Thats defently true...byzantine music had great influence for muslim prayers because Byzantium and muslim lands were always neighbors.

  • Well, byzantine or muslim, both of them celebrete God in Middle East tradition chanting. That is why it is very similar.

  • @Nemija Its also influenced by Asian culture. A representation of ancient multiculturalism. What a wonderful world.

  • They most probably did, especially considering that they were geographicly near each other.

  • Well b4 the 7th century the roman empire did own the now muslim lands of totay, so when they more to islam the must would stay almost the same.

  • Ortodoxia just Ortodoxia...Traiasca dreapta credinta ortodoxa

  • I cannot help but feel the infinite power of God when I listen to this music and read the words of scripture. Everything just makes sense.

  • Amen- The Holy Spirit inhabits in the praises of his people.

  • Will the Christ be man?

Is it a god it is what?

  • Christ is fully God and fully Man

  • He is a Living God, and was born into this world through the Holy Ever Virgin Mary by the Grace of God.

Thus God himself was in Jesus Christ who was the Son of God.

in Him Manifested the Holy spirit.

He gave his Apostles this Holy Spirit when he appeard to them after His entrance into hades were He saved anyone who listened to Him for He is the light and we would be in the darkness without His Great Mercy.

  • 100% God, 100% man, 2 natures, 2 wills, united without confusion, without mingling in the one Person of the Lord Jesus Christ, who is one of the Holy Trinity, who is of one hypostasis with the Father, and so is the Spirit, so the Trinity is One God in Three Persons. Jesus Christ is eternally begotten by the Father before all ages (before time), not made, the Word of God who was made man through being born from the Ever Virgin Mother of God, Mary, who was saved by God the activity of God's Grace.

  • Clarification: Mary was saved byt he activity of God's Grace through her faith in God which produced the fruits of humility and obedience. Her salvation was made possible by Christ's death ont he cross and His resurrection on the third day. Mary was translated to heaven after death. Thus, she is the proof that Christ's death and resurrection has the power to save a man and reunite him to God if he is obedient and willing to repent. She is the 'firstfruit' of mankind's offering to God.

  • You're two questions are illogical and seem to be a trap.

The Athanasian Creed more than suffices as an explanation.

So does the Chalcedonian definition of Christ.

  • This is so beautiful, truely...

What a blessing to be baptized into the faith of our Lord, Jesus Christ!

  • God bless you all good children!!!May love and forgivness be in your hearts!!!!

  • When u Believe in Jesus u can feel it , He is 4 all us ready to help ......... but we must believe in him

  • the 1 true faith

  • @DEMITRIpa

    That's funny,

every time I visit other pages about other religions, some one says the EXACT same thing...

  • wow this sounds amazing

  • the only true Christianism is the Eastern Orthodox one as it is faith in Greece,Serbia,Romania,Constantinople,Russia,Antiocheia,Alexandreia,Georgia and around the world where is are Orthodox Christians. Μεθ'Ημών ο Θεός γνώτε Έθνη και ηττάσθε ότι μεθ'Ημών ο ΄Θεός!!!!!!Ζήτω η Ορθοδοξία!!!!!

  • I'm Greek too, and proud of it.

  • Doxa Patri kai Yio kai agio Pnevmati. Amin

  • so much history!! many in the west forget that the eastern church is much older than the Roman Church.

  • We have the same roots (I am Roman Catholic) and the Church was instituted by Christ.

....and many of us 'in the west' love and greatly appreciate our eastern brothers and their spirituality.
