  • Unreal....

  • i wonder if he can play Nirvana on that thing...

  • just beatiful

  • Hey Bill - graduate of Roberto-Venn, 1981, here! Nice to see (and hear) ya, and your beautiful harp-guitar!

  • just fantastic thanks

  • He Is Sort of Too Busy DIcking with the Self Tuning Devise to Actually Concentrate on the Song....

  • He's "DIcking" with the tuner because as the catption to the video says, he is testing his guitar.

  • Sorry, I missed the Caption.... And I Misspelled Dicking.... I wasn't being critical... I just didn't read the caption...

  • how many strings does that harpguitar have?

  • beautiful

  • that guitar is beautiful. a work of art

  • That's a haunting tune he's playing.

  • Magnifique..

  • I wonder what harp harmonics would sound like on the harp strings XD... Anyway, yes this is one of the most slickist pieces of machinery I've ever seen! I would spend hours messing around with the self tuning guitars or Sympitars... 5/5.

  • 5 stars no less..and a large dust bin for that ugly piece of firewood in the corner here

  • this music makes me feel senile

  • somehow I don't think you where that far to begin with.

  • I must have one~

  • super!!!

    5 stars!!!

  • I would expect changing the tuning on all of those strings would result in a giant SNAP

But it didn't, and it sounds amazing.

  • great!!!

    5 stars

  • I bet restringing these guitars is not fun.

  • This is quite possibly the sickest piece of guitar machinery I have every seen...

  • Beautiful! I really enjoy Will's work with

    R.Carlos Nakai.If you folks like this,check

    out my friend James Kline.

  • Is that done digitally or is it physically retuning the strings?

  • Physically.

  • Hi from Jeff Williams .. YouTubes #1 indie solo guitarist

I WANT ONE OF THESE !! haha .. i was frustrated watching this thinking what " I COULD DO with one of these " :) ..

    thats just so cool

    5 stars from me ..

    Jeff Williams / guitarist

  • that is SO unbelievably cool! I imagine there would be some string breakage with the constant retuning though?

  • reminds a lot of durutti column

  • u r right resopicker xDD

  • wonderful sound the autotune makes

  • Dear santa.....

  • I have no "comment" on this...BECAUSE I'M SPEECHLESS!! If they don't have these in Heaven, then I don't wanna go!

  • anyone think the headstock on the lowest neck looks like a caparison dellinger? :)

  • Wauw William eaton makes good instruments...and hes also a good player...i have his cd and hes making weird sounds but it also becomes a song....bless

  • I like the auto tuning, but that instrument is well, interestingly geeky.

  • It even works with harmonics, doesn't it? I'm talking about the thing he did around 2:00.

  • Yes, similar to you hitting a harmonic and turning your tuning peg while the note was sounding, like using harmonic tuning string to string on the 5th fret. We are adjusting tension at the bridge so all William did was change tunings when he hit a harmonic.

  • What tunings are the knecks set at? Can I buy a guitar like this?

    Nice stuff

  • What a beautiful loking instrument such an organic design. Can I buy One?

what are the two necks tuned to?Many thanks

  • Yes William has some amazing designs. Visit his site listed in the video description to see his work.

  • they constantly change throughout the song, thats what the buttons behind the lower bridge are for. im guessing a guitar like that would be very pricey, probly close to 5 grand

  • There is many guitars like that now.

  • fantastic !!!

  • Although, his technique for multineck is great, it would be cool if William had an echo stomp box to keep a progression going while playing over it. Just hearing that tuning change is a cool effect in itself.

  • Very interesting..Isit possible,to change the 'tuning speed'?Best wishes,Jesse

  • Yes Jesse, the motor speeds can be controlled. If you want to hear some very slow speeds used very effectually, check out Page/Coverdale, Absolution Blues

  • who made that guitar?

  • William Eaton birthed it. He finished it last October.

  • The stuff he plays is amazing. About the system: doesn't it stress the strings a lot tuning them up and down again and again?

  • Good question. We use strings with a reinforced wind, particulalry Daddario KXL series. You would be completely surprised by the string performance and durability.

  • Wow that is amazing. I dreamed about that the other night wondering how I could do it. Thank you guys!
