Impressive...but what's up with people only hovering their chinooks?? are they difficult to fly?

That Chinook did some flying but they are not the most stable things around, no. Check out the video response to see the Scale video from this event, has more of that Chinook flying around. Pilot says it tends to yaw when he's going faster speeds

what would be a good scale elecric helicopter can you help me

Align makes a lot of good scale fuses for their 500 and 600 size helis. Align helis also fly really well, nice and light, and good cheap parts. Just bought a 600E CF version and going to try it hopefully this afternoon

Great! Amazing helis! I have just sorted out a deal for a century Raven 50! £270 with a GY401, servos flight pack and os 50 hyper!

Thanks Sheldon, sounds like a good deal, the OS50hyper works great in that. Raven is a bit heavy compared to other 50size helis, but great to start with and have some fun

Yeah, i'm not intending to do 'hard' 3d with it (cos i cant:D)... just loops, rols, stall turns etc... and inverted hovering. Yes, it's a great deal. I also forgot to mention that it has all the carbon frame upgrades/metal centre hub on the head & metal swash, and the kit ALONE is £270!!

Well, i've got to start saving up! He said he'll probably wait till sebtember roundabouts for me to get the money!

Hey Tazz, thanks, that Chinook was one of the guys at our local field, wish it was mine lol I had video up of it, but they just had it at the field that day. It's the one with the camo in the vid. The same pilot had the news chopper with the aerial cam on board.

Thanks Stormin, we didn't do any comps this time, next year, a few, like a limbo, and picking up my tennis balls and hooks, also a 50/50 draw, prizes and full two days.

Thanks Roger, that super slo mo, is the cameras option, doubles the frame rate it records in, looks great. They suggest to use it to diagnose golf swings lol

That Chinook heli with the other scale one in the background looked great. Espeicially the super slo mo that the camera did for me, was experimenting with that a bit. I am working on my Bell222 right now, getting it back in the air, elevator arm broke off in flight lol, minor damage. How's the Island? lol Gotta go to the Victorias biggest little airshow and get some footage this year again
