I got my 120 palette from BH, and the black on the second panel in the top right corner is pretty crappy to begin with. It's almost a cheap plastic eyeshadow that you have to press your finger into to get any color! :)

Ahh yeah... I did more shopping after reading a few more reviews, talked to a few more buyers, I found a different seller with a similar pallete with a 27 brush kit from Frauline. I sacrificed shipping time and have to wait longer... but I'm not paying for a brand I'm not really gonna get.

@BeBeCC415 yeah, a Chinese manufacture makes these palettes (they're all the same) and just puts on a different label according to the buyer. I have a fake MAC one. Incredible, cheap, and get so many compliments on having "MAC" lol. :)

i got a manly one and had to get a replacement because the first one had like 6 colours that were quite broken. really annoying but i think since it comes all the way from hong kong because i bought it from ebay the shipping and handling may have broken it up because the pallette colours themselves are quite soft.

The manly, Bh Cosmetics, and Coastal Scents palettes are all exactly the same. They all come from the same distributor, just each company repackages them with their label on it. Probably buy them on Ebay for cheaper but the wait time is much less for CS or BH cause they already have them here in the US

it means that you use something to press the color down, to make more compact ^^

It means you get something small and hard such as a penny, and you press the powder so it becomes compact again. It works if the powder is loose or if it's broken, but it distorted the color in her case..

There are no glittery colors in this palette, but lots of shimmers. the shimmers are really "soft" and a bit dusty.

when i opened it though, an orange and a pretty lime green were really messed up.

i bought mine from glamlabel, but i guess these sellers are either the same person/company or are all linked in some way.

i bought insurance too, as you recommended, so i want to request another palette.

lol, yeah, idk why, but I guess I always think of cover girls as the poo-poo makeup. YES this will work for african American Women (women with darked skin tones look AMAZING in bright loud colors! far far better than I) but you, like me, will need to use a light-colored sticky base for these, I love NYX jumbo pencil in milk for this palette,

You're really lucky you got the Beauty Factory one, I got the Manly one which is the same, but the seller I got mine from on ebay would not send me another one. I had 12 shadows broken to crap, and they requested pics. After I sent them they said the would do a refund and then changed is to a partial refund...I finally gave up. I do love the palette a lot and it is worth it, but I don't care for the most of the matte colors, they do not blend well. Thanks for the video.

what i meant is don't press them down with alcohol. these come very soft. basically to know more about pressing, do you youtube serch for enkoremakeup, and pigment pressing. he also did one about reparing broken shadows. they are very helpful, and will explain it a lot better that i cAN

I have fishnet! Oh how I love urban Decay. Kinda pricey, but worth it! a heads up though, Ben Nye Cosmic Violet is really similar to Fishnet, but more pigmented and smoother!

There's no option for insurance on Coastal Scents, but if it comes damaged, you can just send it back to them and they will send you a brand new one.

There are plenty of Makeup Guru's on this site who HAVE ordered this pallet from Coastal Scents you could've asked about this. It's not my dear friend Cora's fault that she ordered from Ebay (quite smart in my opinion.) and doesn't know how you would go about handling a damaged pallet.

If you are looking for the 120 palette that has alot of browns, it is the 120 eyeshadow palette Collection #2. You can tell the difference because there is a black on each palette instead of both on the top corner of 1. If you go to beauties-factory they have both or you can find it on ebay just look for #2.
