  • We use to sing Let It Be in our Catholic church back in around 73-74 or so. Now THAT'S the power of good music!

  • Not gonna lie but Yoko is kinda ugly

  • You people aren't really listening.

  • John and Yoko r so cute together :)

  • That little solo around 1.50 is what got me interested in keyboards when I was 12.

  • ballad of john and yoko is my fav beatles song, cool that they pit the hole song in the documentary :}

  • yah...yoko looks like the mother in the grudge..hahaha

  • @28cutevin hahahahahaha yeah!

  • i feel that the break up started with Brian Epsteins death

  • @jmoncada06 That's what they said themselves in the Anthology. Thank you for pointing it out, especailly to the ones who keep blaming Yoko...

  • @jmoncada06 That's what they said themselves in the Anthology. Thank you for pointing it out, especially to the ones who keep blaming Yoko...

  • it's so wierd to see Paul's forehead for once. I mean, he rocks a beard and everything, but I WANT THE MOP-TOP BACK!!!

    :P hehe (not)

  • love is messed up...

but i got NOTHIN against Yoko.

  • Te Odioooooo Yoko!!!!!!

  • For all you Yoko haters (or think she broke up the beatles): She did not break up the Beatles. The beatles broke up the beatles. Yoko, by loving John, actually saved the Beatles from having to work together in a false of environment of appearing to the world like they 'liked' each other. Their egos grew, as did their faith in their individual talents, and they wanted to move on.

  • am i the only one that Yoko reminds of the Grudge???

  • at 9:24 they hold as sign saying "Bagism" John invented it inspired by the theme of Antoine de Saint-Exupérys "The Little Prince," which was "One sees rightly only with the heart, the essential is invisible to the eyes." A bag hiding her and John's appearance, would make their essence or the essence of their message visible was why they hid in one at a press confrence once. It''s mentioned in Beatles songs "The Ballad of John and Yoko" & "Come Together" and in"Give Peace a Chance"

  • i wonder what the world would be like if the beatles where still together :S

  • john couldnt compete with paul for years once they started writing their own songs, at least in terms of hit songs. read the rolling stone article about the beatles break up from this past year, john couldnt keep up and didnt really want to. paul was a machine from sgt. pepper on and george was getting great at writing songs too. john still had great songs dont get me wrong but he just didnt want to do it anymore

  • i prefer the let it be solo in this rather than actual recording. actually, it's more of a tie.

  • haha. i know it's mean, but i laugh when i see those girls crying about paul getting married. lmao xD

  • I think that George must have been the last guy on the planet not to remove that damned cover on the bridge pickup of his Tele.

  • na its just love john just had a wierd taste in girls i guess.

  • This is the version of "Let It Be" with which I first became acquainted. Then I heard that thing that Phil Specter produced and I couldn't believe he would butcher such a good song like that! This version is SO much better!

  • @rickyfan3956 yes i agree, this is the better version than the version Specter released. In fact the version they released has Paul playing the "botched chord" during the last verse on "mother mary, come to me"...Paul doesn't hit the right chord when he start's with 'mother'...I also like the wording with ...'there will be no sorrow"..which gets cut out from what they released...oh well....

  • How could John possibly marry that ugly rodent ... too much LSD I guess!!!

  • watching this feels so unreal....

  • love is strange.

  • man... everybody's complaining like yoko was the only reason for he break up... like she fuckin set up traps for the other guys and put laxative in their meals... they just became four men with different interests in life and in music and also got fed up of the routine the music was turning into. i mean, yoko is john's LOVE. wtf are you comlaining about ? be grateful for the many things the beatles did, and for once understand that everething ends one day or one way.

  • 100% AGREE

  • all things must pass

  • @deeewd Well said. Instead of saying "F*ck Yoko" like I've seen in previous posts, we should be saying "Thank you, Yoko" for making John so happy.

"Woman, I can hardly express my inner feelings and thankfulness for showing me the meaning of success."

Excerpt from "Woman" by John Lennon (off the Double Fantasy album, 1980).

  • @deeewd True, Yoko was not the only reason, but she definitely was a factor. True, Yoko was John's love, but so was Cynthia and she never interfered. True, we should be grateful for everything The Beatles did, but we still wish they were together. It goes both ways.

  • jajaja pobres niñas... pero tenia que casarse algun dia ¿no? estaban esperando a que paul se casara con alguna de ellas

  • Paul is so hot during "Let It Be".

  • yoko...you seem to be the only japanese woman with bad hair

  • Something of the Michael Foot about John at 3.26 Just Beautiful!

  • Holy shit. A Wiimote!! LMAO

  • she looks like a gnarly alien chink!!!!

  • I hate youu Yoko Ono!!!! i hatee you!!!!!

  • They were so fabulously weird

  • yupps. the highlight of that was magical mystery tour which is so freaking weird

  • paul looks so sad singing Let It Be:'(

  • oh snap. at 8:03 who else sees an iPod on the bed. XD

  • you're wrong, it's a wiimote. =P

  • or a wiipod. yay compromise!

  • It's a microphone. They're being interviewed.

  • no it's not. it's a wiipod.

  • a microphone I says

  • lies!

  • yoko looks like a ghost

  • yoko is that girl from the ring lmfao

  • The Ballad of John and Yoko

  • the ballad of john and yoko such a clear statement on this relationship

  • You know, i don't want to blame the breakup entirely on Yoko, but she could at least smile once in a while in the studio! It's as if she's trying to make the atmosphere worse.

  • it's so hard to believe that the John we see with yoko is the same person who sang "twist and shout"

    good god how he changed....

  • Comment removed

  • paul looks so sad singning let it be

  • R.I.P.

    GEORGE HARRISON

  • let it be .....

  • what a fucking douche bag that cop has nothing better to do so he makes musicians look bad when there are worse crimes to deal with

  • LOL!

  • Watching Let it Be, and going through the Anthology videos on youtube, at you get to the point where they break-up. It makes you sad.

You long for a reunion, but it can never happen. Makes a bit more sad. Who knows what they would have done, if John wasn't murdered.

    R.I.P-John and George

  • I don't think Yoko should have been to ANY of the recording sessions. They were tense as it was and she just ruined the whole atmosphere.

  • How do you know about that? Were you there? :/

  • It's been said repeatedly by all the Beatles but John. =/

So I didn't have to be.

There's a reason they all disliked her.

  • Don't forget that Linda was there too. The Beatles were fed up with themselves, it wasn't really about Yoko's presence in the studio. She was scapegoated.

I don't know why people don't like Yoko. I met her last year at a press conference and she was such a lovely person... Extremely intelligent and funny.

  • Maybe you're right.

But I think that if The Beatles had been in their studio alone, without Linda OR Yoko, they might have lasted a bit longer. While there was tension between them in later years, it would have been easier to communicate amongst themselves when they were alone.

Maybe it's because she's the one who is always blamed for the breakup. I haven't met her, so, I will admit, I have no right to criticize.

  • 2. However, I don't agree to some of her choices, such as declaring her love for John when she was married to Cox, and I personally thought she was with The Beatles throughout many personal moments that probably would have gone smoother without her ( or any of their wives ) there. I can't say she's a bad person, but I can say that, from the interviews and the quotes from The Beatles, she DID have an effect on them that they sometimes perceived as negative.

  • 1:08-1:14

    that bitch

  • How dare she...sit there? Enjoying the company of her man?

Yoko gets blamed for a lot just because she wasn't within the group. They would've broken up anyway, that much is obvious from watching the footage. The only difference is without Yoko, there would not have been a convenient scapegoat.

  • Listen everybody has that friend that has the girlfriend that is constantly around. When you try to speak privately to that friend, you have to speak with the girlfriend that is always right there with them. And it gets old real quick...i feel my boy pauls pain

  • It just amazes me how the Beatles kept consistantly creating music of the highest quality all the way thru til their break up.

    Simply great stuff.

  • Damn it, I said to myself, I wouldn't cry!

  • i don´t like paul very much, i preffer a person just like George,

  • love georges let it be solo. its different on the let it be film than the actual record albums.

  • JOHN PLAYS THE BASSLINE?!

It seems that he is using a six-stringed instrument.

I wonder if this is a Baritone Guitar.

    LTJ

  • cant remember the exact name, its a 6 string fender jaguar bass/baritone

  • It's a Fender VI Six String Bass.

  • lookin at this footage of john and george(especially john) makes me sooo sad!!

    R.I.P Boys

    xxxxxxxxxx

  • I know how you feel! To make things worse i've seen a tv report in the late 70's of John saying it was all "water under the bridge" and wouldn't mind if they one day got back together.

  • Me too. Watching your favorite group slowly breaking apart can't leave you "indifférent"

  • ahh i luved yokos outfit for the wedding

    she looked so cute

its those photos that make me like her

but then i look at the other pix of the boys and yoko and there so uncomfortable with her around

i cant make up me mind to lu her or to hate her

  • gran video let it be

  • jjajaja fighting weeping teenagers

  • it isn't important! Fuck Manson

  • GOSH! THAT DAMN PAUL MCCARTNEY! every song that he plays on the piano makes me tear up! lol, im a wuss! i love Paul McCartney. i dont think they killed the wrong Beatle. No Beatle should have been killed. It's as simple as that.

  • @anothergirl45 Yeah, you're a wuss.

  • The end of the Beatles is very sad, but all things have to come to an end... Sadly enough.

  • You're an asshole.

  • do u know what's ur problem? I think that u think that ur very clever.

have u ever heard a beatle paul song?

I'm sure you could take a guitar and write eleanor rigby, the fool on the hill or get back in 15 minutes, couldn't u?

comen man ur blind or what? paul is a genius like all the beatles.

I regret u haven't noticed it yet.. bad for you

if u dont like him go a listen avril lavigne.. i'm sure you like her..haha.

    BIGHEADED CUNT UR MUM!

    stupid...

  • Love George's telecaster, and John is playing a baritone Fender guitar (rather than a bass).

  • seriously, as Paul is staring into the camera and I'm realizing that this is the end of their performances and run as THE greatest band, I'm getting choked up. Paul's stare is haunting.

    Yeah, Let It Be

  • I had heard that Paul was actually singing about his Mother Mary (deceased)who was of Irish descent and she used to say to him and his brother when they were fighting as kids to Let It Be just Let It Be. Maybe someone out their can clarify this as I'm not 100%.

  • I saw an interview on television once with him and he said that yes he was actually refering to his own mother Mary McCartney. But of course the way it is phrased 'Mother Mary' everyone thinks of a religious refrence in the song.

  • Thats true the phrase let it be actually comes from when paul had a dream and he his mom came to him and said that to him

  • sorry ... if i recall correctly, Mother Mary refers to his late mother, who passed away when he was quite young.

  • My favorite songs
