They were bought out by Mattel and they proceeded to do everything the opposite way that TYCO did it. I have a 4 year old son who unfortunately is starting to watch more tv and I yet to hear a Mattel/TYCO commercial. Somethings shouldn't be changed advertising for toys 80's early 90's style is one of them.

Buy him an old Tyco slotcar track, incase he wants an rc car.. Too bad they don't produce those anymore, but u can get a lot of part on ebay and so on. The old things are still worth it ;)
