  • aw didn't those little baby pigs look so cute running in the grass to bad they have the chance of being eaten by a predator. Bet if they were in a barn they would be protected from everything and live a happy life being alive and taken care of with their every need. You people really don't have a clue do you. Animals are confined to protect them and keep them healthy. If a animal is sick it can be found right away and treated before she is severly hurt or even dead like they would be in the wild

  • would U prefer being kept in a cage so small you cant even move around in and being in close next to other people your entire life?Or would u rather take the chance of living normal.Animals are MEANT to be outside, and its unnatural for them to be boxed up like machinery. If they get hunted, thats just Natural Selection. if they get sick, the farm owner would or should call a vet and get it treated. I dont know what farms are like around you,but generally people take care of their profits.

  • Thank you to everyone for the support of this new legislation. Although California Prop 2 creates a minimal improvement in the lives of factory farm animals, it proves that people recognize the need for compassion to animals.

  • Good move. I hope this is really true for his mass-market foods, like frozen pizzas.

  • Whenever people say "We mustn't be sentimental", you can take it they are about to do something cruel. And if they add "We must be realistic", they mean they are going to make money out of it. I'm sold: I'm voting yes on 2 this November. Thanx Herr Puck!

  • yes on 2!

  • YES YES on Proposition 2! The passage of this proposition would require that animals have a space large enough for them to stand up and turn around. Birds would have space to spread their wings. These animals have short, unnatural lives. The least we can do is treat them humanely. If the California Legislature were doing its job, it would have written these provisions into the law years ago.

  • Thanks Wolfie, It is a step in the right direction and now more apt to choose your products. uuchristine

  • Vote yes, it's the right Thing to do!
