I still find applying lashes so difficult! I never apply them on a night out, as I don't want to ruin and get glue over my eyeshadow, which I always do! I can never get the placement right either! Love watching you apply them Nic, you make it look effortless x
i had mad problems with my eyelashed last sat and im usually quiet good..It was the glue and the stem was stiff to and it was crazy..I think a good glue it key and letting it dry but not too long because the glue would of dried up and be useless
That was a wicked tutorial girl!!!!! You made it look effortless!!!!! I've got a party coming up in 2 weeks so now im definately gonna try this out for myself!!
i love fake lashes and have always ended up giving up coz they dnt stick properly and now that you have pointed out about letting the glue dry (which i never knew about) im defo gonna give them a go again x thanx x
Thank you for this Nic! I was able to put some lashes on last night and went to dinner with my husband. I felt like a million bucks! I don't know what I'd do without you girls!
This is a very good tutorial. I did notice that for me it is better for me to apply a small amount of mascara on first and curl my lashes with a curler. This helped my lashes to blend in better with the falsies and made it much easier to apply them. I'd have to say that the "duo" glue is the best for falsies as well.
loved the tutorial, i bought #41's around june this year but they are very hard to combine with certain make up looks, what make up look would you recomend to try them with?
Love ya Nic. I have been getting better and better at applying my lashes but I think holding them in the middle with the tweezers is going to make it even easier.
YOU ROCK!!
btw...i subscribe to many channels but always watch pixiwoo last because it's like dessert, you want to savor every minute of it so you save it 'til the end of the meal.
Perfect im glad i watched as i was using a little too much glue and it was irritating my eyes getting eyelash extensions next week to see if i like the look permnantly
I find that when I apply false eyelashes (using Duo adhesive) my eyes (often only one eye) tend to water like crazy and the top lash line can feel like it's scratching in my eye. Anyone any suggestions as to what this might be. Too much glue perhaps or would I maybe have an allergy to the glue? x
ive the same problem when i apply too much glue so try and use a little less and see if its causing discomfort and if you are actually allergic to the glue maybe you could try eyelash extensions they last for up to 8weeks and you can have nice dramatic lashes or just naturally full ones
It is possible that the lashes are too long for your eye and the end is scratching your eye. Since it is only one eye that has the problem I doubt it is a allergy, but try switching glue, see if it helps
thanks for this video! my friend who's a ballerina has given me this tip so many times for how to get my lashes on, but seeing it just helps so much more than instructions without visuals - so thank you so much! :)
can false lashes still be worn if mascara is applied to mesh them with the natural lashes? and if so can they be cleaned with a q-tip dipped in make-up remover?
I always have so much trouble putting falsies on. I just tried it after watching this video and it was so flipping simple!!! I'm like "Why was this always so hard???" Thank you so very much!
hi i have never used falsh eyelashes and i am wondering how you remove them after you have used them? do u get glue with the lashes or do you buy it seperate ? love the videos keep up the good work :)
Ahhhhh I really hate false lashes.....they are so fiddly to put on and I end up getting glue everywhere!!! Thanks for the tutorial :) PS How do you cut them down to size?
Thanks for this tutorial. I am so horrible with putting on lashes that I just gave up and simply curl my own and use darkest black mascara. So after seeing your tutorial perhaps I will try again. Appreciate it!
I know a full strip of false lashes can be a lot for work. Would you do a tutorial on applying a few individual, strategically placed lashes? I can not find one anywhere.
Thanks sam, I had no idea about the lashes with a clear stem to them were easier to put on, all mine have quite a thick black stem to them, probably why I have such a shocking horrid time putting them on, great video, and a great help, x
Thank you so much for this video. Will it be possible to reuse the false lashes (after you cleaned and disinfected them of course) if you put mascara on them? I think Sam mentioned that she puts mascara on her own lashes only (before applying the falsies) if she wants to reuse them.
beatnix65 - you can re-use them after mascara, you just need to be careful when removing mascara and I don't recommend using an oil based make-up remover. Popping them into a bowl of luke warm water and then gently cleaning with a q-tip works fine, this will also help to clean off the glue.
I have watched tons and tons of eyelash vids and i still can't quite seem to get them right ughhh lol i guess i'll keep on practicing... for some reason the inner corner of the lashes always lift no matter how i put the glue on or how i let it dry.. i don't know what the problem is lol
awesome, ive never tried false lashes, because i thought it would be to complicated but you made it look so easy, thank you, cant wait to give em a try!! :) :)
Do you ever curl your lashes with the false lashes after they are applied? I've been doing that because I think it blends my real lashes in with the false ones, but you are a make-up artist and you'd know better than me. Would you recommend curling them together or leaving them? I always apply mascara after they are applied and curled BTW
now when i wear false eyelashes, i always have a difficulty with the inner corner staying put, i always make sure to put glue from end to end and press firmly. any tips to keep it from prying off? love yall!
great video. makes life much easier :) I was wondering if you would do a tutorial on eye liner? How you winged it out? Mine never look right. Its either too high or too low. Gave ya 5 stars! Thanks!!
Thanks for the instructions on false eyelashes. Do you think its important to buy pricey eyelashes or will the cheap ones do as well? Can you post what cosmetics your wearing in your tutorials? Your complextion looks flawless!! Thanks :o))))
Thank you for this, very helpful. Can I give a suggestion to do a video that shows falselash care? I know you wrote below that lashes can be worn 5/6 times but I've only wore my lashes about 3 times max before ripping them. I think I'm doing something wrong haha. Anywho, cheers girls! x
Thks Nic!!! Do you have any advise for us women with naturally curled lashes? It's a monster of a task trying to avoid sticking your own lashes to lid or under falseys...
it sounds silly but try using lash curlers to lesson the curl in the lashes........if your lashes are super curly lash curlers can sometimes stop them bing as curly.
THANKS!!! You know I said I was going to try that?!...but when I told someone I would they looked at me like I was crazy!! "Ha! We laugh in the face of make-up rules!!" ; )
hi nicc! great video. very helpful. quick question: do you like the mac gel liners? cause ive seen you use bobbi brown and clinique and i think umm pixi(?) too,not sure, but i cant remember if youve ever used mac gel liner. i have the mac one but it dries out super fast so i was wondering if the other ones you use are better
do they hurt and pull out your real eyelashes when you take them off? that's what i'm scared of. I won't wear any type of fake nails because it hurts too much if I want to taken them off.
Thanks, Nic! I have loads of lashes and haven't had the time and or the inclination to sit and just work with them. But now that I know the "tricks", it's time to start using all the beautfiul lashes I've purchased!
Fabulous tutorial. I've been looking for a false eyelash application tutorial.
One question though: do you know of an eyelash glue that doesn't contain latex or formaldehyde? I'm allergic to both but love the look of false eyelashes.
Wow you made that appear effortless, "just pop it on." lol I tried doing flash lashes for Halloween and had to give up. But will def try your method. Thanks for making this vid!
Oh this is fabulous!!!! I was wanting to ask you guys to do an eyelash video but felt it might be a silly idea. I can take minutes to do my make-up and then spend an hour trying to put lashes on.
Definately going to go for the No.7 MAC ones...they look amazing!
I have the hardest time getting the outside corner of the false eyelashes directly above my lash line! So, I will definitely try using the tweezers and putting them in the middle first! Thanks!
the only reason I know where false lashes with confidence is from watching you and Sam apply them! As always you look gorgeous thank you for the helpful tutorials
hey dont you want to roll ur fake lashes back and forth after u take them out of the case so they maintain shape before applying to ur eye or does it matter?
To spend one of each MAC lash just to show us how to put... That was so generous!!!! =D

@Eleven787 Depending on how well you look after them (removing the glue residue carefully and the mascara) about 5-7 times maybe even more.

Oh this is fabulous!!!! I was wanting to ask you guys to do an eyelash video but felt it might be a silly idea. I can take minutes to do my make-up and then spend an hour trying to put lashes on.
Definately going to go for the No.7 MAC ones...they look amazing!
Thank you Nic!
