I went to the apple store (us) to check for you. I chose the 2.0 GHz iMac and the 2.1 GHz macbook.

the only change in specs I made was upgrading the macbook HDD to 250 GB, like the iMac

So: the macbook is delivered in 1-3 business days, the iMac, in 24 hours. the macbook is $50 more expensive and has .1 more GHz for its processor. The macbook comes with a 13 inch screen where the iMac comes with 20 inch. The macbook has a combo drive, iMac, a super drive. and iMac wins for graphics too! :D

IMO, the Imac is a better choice, however it is not as portable as the macbook. I bought a macbook without doing any research beforehand, and now regret it. I thought I'd be moving around all over the place, but my speakers and power cord leave me tied to my desk.

If you want a good deal in the all in one desktop then the iMac is a great deal for what it is, compared against similar products from HP Dell et all who only go to 20" and are much thicker. But don't expect desktop power, PCs are still dominant in that arena.
