There is just something about this anime that is just captivating and grabs you. The story is woven in a light but complex story, where you have an idea of what, but not the why. The characters are believable and realistic in the story and, for the most part, react appropriately to the situations at hand based on their personality. Eden of the East ending how it did, was appropriate and it is a good thing it was as short as it was, because sometimes it is best to leave a good thing just that.

I just realised, but this ending, right at the end, foreshadows the last episode! This was the best anime I've ever seen btw. It wasn't very perverted, the characters were great. I will never forget Akira Takizawa.

I wish it would have continued. I can seriously see this anime taking on a death note scale greatness had the producers created it while having 26 episodes in mind. I mean i wanna know what happens. @superdubman999 Somehow quite some people missed it. But Eden of the East was meant as a movie series. the anime episodes are or will be rereleased as movie and somehow broadcast in America along with 2 follow up movies. This stuff will be great to marathon later on :D.

Anyhow Eden of the East the king of eden is subbed already which is the first movie. The second movie will be out soon in japan or is already out and well have to wait for a sub.
